Beautiful quiet town. Lots of summer visitors but much quieter and enjoyable than Gatlinburg. Great food choices. Check out the food trucks. The Thai was amazing

Cherokee needs more restaurants outside the casino. Now that they have the casino looking beautiful it's time to bring more options in for the whole family. Still seen some run down parts that could be cleaned up. Been coming to Cherokee for 20 yrs.

Unless you are in great shape, you will need a wheelchair or scooter to get around. We walked miles from the parking lot to the Casino and then back to our room. Unless you eat at the Casino, food options are limited to mostly hamburger joints etc.
