"Lovely hotel. Clean and comfortable. Had an issue with heating in the from and they solved it promptly. Staff were informative and helpful and friendly. Rooms and bathrooms were large and clean. Shower was excellent. Would recommend. "

"The staff were faultless, and paid much attention to my border collie (not surprising: that always happens.) The room was too hot and there were a lot of strange stains on the walls. Very weird. The rooms were good otherwise. Bathroom very stylish and functional. Bed= comfortable. Good thread count on the linen. Biscuits good. Coffee undrinksble. I’d stay again, but I’d bring my aeropress. And I’d try not to look at the walls. "

"We stayed at Hotel Du Vin in Poole as a treat for my birthday and were hoping for a special experience. The location is great and it was a nice touch that they left two small truffles chocolates in the room for my birthday. However, there were a few disappointing things. The bath still had cleaning product left on it when we arrived, so we had to wait for this to be sorted. We also didn’t sleep well as the pillows went flat quickly and the bed was very firm. The room menu mentioned fresh milk in the fridge, but this apparently stopped after Covid and instead there were small long-life milk pots, which felt a bit underwhelming. Breakfast was also disappointing – the poached eggs were very slimy and no one checked on us during the meal. This isn't the service I'd expect for £24 for breakfast each. When checking out I mentioned everything had only been “fine”, but this didn’t seem to be picked up on by the receptionist. Overall, a lovely location but not quite the experience we expected for a birthday treat."

"Super venue in a super location and a beautiful sea view. Room was lovely and immaculate, cleaning was impeccable and it was great to have all toiletries provided and plenty of toilet rolls which isn’t something you get everywhere. Staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble, we even given breakfast after they’d stopped serving - Todd was a particularly favourite! Food was great and managed to get good discounts during our stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. "

"Booked for 1 night, business trip. Biggest positive was staff, helpful great people. Biggest negative, a bit let down shower cabin. In general good standard room for a good price. Small paid parking but managed smart and safe, which was important for me. "
