Disappointed. We stayed at this hotel earlier in the year and loved it. We were shocked to find the rooms (we had 2) were totally unfit for a top scale hotel. The first room, top floor, great view, clean, except the toilet bowl (not the lid but the bowl) had a crack in the middle thru the porclean. Also a chair cushion was falling apart at the seams. We called the front desk and were immediately moved to another larger room due to the issues. The second room (501) was an upgrade, also a very nice room with a great view. This room had no AC and the thermostat had an CH-05 error code. The room also had a musty smell and the carpet appeared to have been pulled up and put back down possibly wet. We decided to just stay after having unpacked and losing a couple of hours of our trip to celebrate my husband's birthday. The girl at the front desk was very accomodating and understanding and assured us she would have the AC repaired asap. For the 2 nights we were in the hotel we had the sliding glass doors open with no screens in order to get some kind of air circulation in the room. Having seasonal allergies this was not the best solution but the only solution and it worked as far as tolerating the issue. Since we have stayed here before and seen the hotel at in a much better state it was such a disappontment to find this much decline in 10 months. The staff at the front desk are awesome, the rooms were clean, maybe new mangement and better communication would help.
