"Very friendly and helpful staff. Felt welcome. Nice room and good shower. Clean, great location for everything. Lovely food and drinks. Can highly recommend."
"A boutique and very personal (only 3 year old) hotel a little outside the main Victoria Falls town. Offers regular free shuttle into town and down to Vic Falls Entrance. Outside the designated times, you have to book taxis but the hotel have an account with reliable supplier. We had the larger signature room which was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Staff are very helpful. Cooked breakfasts are good. Only slight criticism is that dinner can be quite slow and it’s best to go for the fresh cooked grills."
"The room was clean and everything worked well. The place is small and I never saw anyone in the bar. (Not an issue for us). Rooms are pretty small as well. Breakfast was cereal, fruit and eggs cooked to your liking as well as sausage, bacon and beans. -So, a nice breakfast. Extra person in the room was very tight and cost $70/night. So, that was a little expensive. It's a small town, so everything is close. But fairly far for walking. Use InDrive as a ride hailing app and anywhere you want to go will end up costing you $3 each way."
"This is a garden hotel with beautiful trees and flowers at walking distance from city center. It has an excellent restaurant, high quality delicious food."
"had a wonderful stay at Waterfalls Lodge and genuinely enjoyed my experience from start to finish. The hotel has a great atmosphere, the service was excellent, and the overall experience was one I would happily recommend to others.
A very special shout-out to Marzi, who was absolutely exceptional. She was friendly, attentive, professional, and went out of her way to make sure we were well looked after. Her attitude and level of service really stood out to me.
Honestly, Marzi is the best of the best ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ She is a real asset to Waterfalls Lodge and deserves to be recognised and appreciated for the excellent service.
Thank you, Waterfalls Lodge, for a great stay and thank you Marzi."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Zimbabwe
Book for the cheapest times: Visiting Zimbabwe can be surprisingly affordable on a budget, especially during February, September, and October, when hotel prices may drop to lower prices. For travelers interested in exploring the country's rich landmarks, historical sites, cultural attractions, and natural wonders, a stay of at least 3 days is recommended to ensure you experience great value for money. From captivating historical landmarks to beautiful natural attractions, Zimbabwe offers an ideal blend of culture and nature for those seeking a budget-friendly adventure.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Travelers in Zimbabwe looking for savings may discover great options on Hotels.com. To get discounted hotels near their travel dates, users can explore the Deals section. For spontaneous trips, check the Last-Minute DealsOpens in a new window page, which could occasionally highlight timely offers. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool in the app helps users compare hotel prices and amenities, increasing the likelihood of finding an attractive option. By enabling email alerts or push notifications, travelers ensure they're updated on flash sales and potential price drops for their preferred accommodations.
Be flexible with dates: Prices can vary depending on factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay in a Zimbabwe hotel. For those interested in unique accommodations, boutique hotels may provide a more personalized experience and sometimes even better value. When booking with Hotels.com, we'll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it's on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you potentially find a better deal.
Consider your location: Staying in the heart of major Zimbabwean cities offers undeniable convenience, as you'll be close to popular attractions and vibrant local culture. However, this central location tends to come with higher prices. Travelers seeking more affordable options might consider lodging in smaller towns or rural areas, where accommodations are more likely to be budget-friendly. While these alternatives may require a bit more travel to reach key attractions, they can provide a welcome balance between cost and convenience. Additionally, exploring nearby cities with their own unique charms can offer a similar cultural experience at a more accessible price point.
