Very clean room and comfortable roof top terrace. It’s within walking distance of the Centro district—close to restaurants, bars, cafes, and bakeries, but far enough that it’s peaceful and quiet at night. Still easy to catch a cab, and very helpful front desk staff to help you find your way around town. Would stay here again.

The boutique hotel was very quaint and it offered a rooftop deck. The rooms were clean and maid service was provided everyday. They also offer a Continental breakfast for a small fee, per person. We also had the option of storing a few drinks and some food in the community fridge in the upstairs kitchen. Overall it was about 6 blocks to the town center. I would stay again.

The Azucena is a really sweet hotel with a wonderful 2nd story garden patio that looks out over Oaxaca and the beautiful mountains surrounding it. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful and our room was clean and taken care of each day. We loved our stay there!

Azucena was better than it looked online—the room was perfect for my weekend stay in Oaxaca. In a great neighborhood, walkable to everything—Oaxaca is not too big and everything in el centro is pretty walkable and pretty to walk through :) Also, the staff was lovely! Very kind and helpful, and the breakfast is great and super affordable—I wish I'd been able to enjoy it more!
