Cypress House Inn was welcoming and a pleasant experience from check in to check out. The breakfast was amazing. Very nice decor throughout the home and a very clean appearance. I definitely recommend staying here over anywhere else in the area. Such friendly owners and staff. We will be back again.

Fantastic B and B

We had the best time at Cypress House. Very cute place with many amenities to support time at the beach. Centrally located to everything. The beach is right across the street. Breakfast was fantastic and Bill was so great to talk to. Even though they had a death in the family while we were there they had a backup plan and we were still well cared for. We will be back!

This was our first stay at a B&B and I don't believe we could have made a better choice. The house was lovely, inside and out, and our hosts were friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and quite comfortable. Breakfast was scrumptious and the time to sit around the table and visit with the other guests and our hosts was time well spent. We hope to return again next year!

Comfortable and welcoming

We were welcomed by Veda and Bill and felt very comfortable from the start. They were very helpful with suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. We enjoyed meeting other guests from other parts of the country. The room was cozy, the bathroom was modern, and the breakfasts were delicious. We especially liked the availability of water, coffee, and tea in the upstairs hallway.

Our family of 4 had a great stay at the Cypress Inn. The innkeepers Bill and Veda were so welcoming. Breakfast was a real treat and everyday a different dish prepared from scratch. Location is super convenient, barely a block from the beach. We’d love to go back!

A great place to stay

We had a perfect stay at the Cypress Inn. The innkeepers were very hospitable, friendly and informative. Our room was clean and cozy. There was coffee, tea and hot chocolate always available; which I enjoyed. The location to the beach was excellent. There was a lot to explore close to the B&B. We will definitely be back again!

This was my first time staying here and it was a great experience! Bill and Veda are the sweetest and make sure we had everything we needed. They recommended awesome things for us to do and see while there. Breakfast each morning was the absolute best!! The beach was within walking distance, they provided beach chairs and towels for guests!

Cypress Inn is a perfect location to visit for exploring the Outer Banks. It’s right at the entrance to the beach, a great bike rental is a 5 minute walk away and we could bike to the Wright National Monument. Many restaurant offers and we loved the homemade breakfast each day at the inn. The guest room was spacious, cozy and the modern bathrooms were perfect. Can’t wait to visit Bill and Veda in the future.

We feel that we stayed at the PERFECT PLACE!!! Loved the east access to the beach, the wonderful breakfast, the beautiful room and bath but most of all, Veda and Bill are great hosts!! I would recommend this Inn to everyone I know that is traveling to this area. I haven’t mentioned how fun the area is but the whole area is relaxing , has great seafood restaurants, the Wright Brothers Memorial brought to life just what the brothers went through in planning and executing the first flight; we loved seeing the lighthouses (the Bodie Island Lighthouse was our favorite) but the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse was amazing as well and to know that engineers planned and had a team move this lighthouse 2,900 feet in 1999 to protect it from being washed out in the ocean was an unbelievable feet. If you are looking for a vacation where you just want to relax, this is it!! Thank you to the Cypress Inn for the nice accommodations!! Harold & Paula Cornett

Our stay at Cypress House Inn was wonderful; magical! The inn was the exact old beach house setting we wanted for a trip to the Outer Banks. House is all charm but with every modern comfort and unbeatable hospitality from Bill and Veda. Breakfasts were so delicious and served outside at individual tables. Loved the coffee bar outside our room; beach accessories provided; comfortable bed, and the location was fabulous - about halfway between our ventures north and south and steps from the beach. I highly recommend Cypress House Inn for a few days or a whole week. We hope to come back again!

Wonderful stay at the Cypress House Inn! It’s a block from beach and the service was the best. Bill shared his extensive knowledge of the area with us each morning. We had delicious breakfasts during our three days: fresh fruit followed by French toast, pancakes or quiche. The loft was the perfect room for our family of four. It’s spacious, clean and there's a deck with some views of the ocean. We had beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler bag with reusable ice packs, umbrella and picnic basket. When I asked about boogie boards, Bill was very responsive and we had a couple to use right away. It’s not a full kitchen but there is a fridge, microwave/air fryer, coffee maker and cups/glasses/utensils. The location is about the middle of the Outer Banks, which worked well for us too.
