The Palazzo Segreti is a lovely boutique hotel in a great location in between the Milan Cathedral and the Sforzesco Castle and easily walkable to both along with plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes.
The hotel conveniently has an elevator/lift to help transport bags to rooms. There were a few stairs in between the lobby and the lift but there was always a staff member available to help. The hotel offered a buffet style breakfast each morning (included with your stay) with a variety of items and one cup of coffee to start your day. I am not a big breakfast person, so for me, the variety was perfect.
The room was lovely, comfortable, and spacious. My only complaint was the lack of air conditioning in our room. We asked 4 times for the air conditioning to be adjusted as the thermostat was not working in our room. Being in a busy/noisy area with a restaurant across the alley from us, we were not able to have the windows open which made it difficult to sleep. Each time we inquired, the woman at the front desk told us she'd take care of it but never did and when we returned to follow up, she was extremely rude and made us feel like a bother. We were told that she didn't see what the problem was because other rooms weren't having issues with their conditioning. I do feel like this was an isolated issue though as all of the other staff members were friendly, polite, and accommodating.
