Perfect for families. This location is right on the edge of lively areas but just a short walk to everything you want or need for kids and adults. The staff was also very helpful and we’re happy to accommodate every step of the way with the best attitudes.

This hotel is close to a major shopping mall and the Hakata JR Station (also a stop for the Shinkansen as well). The staff were very friendly and also very accommodating. The rooms were of decent size for Japanese standards. The room looked a little dated, but at least it was clean. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. When we shipped our luggage to the next hotel, the hotel staff were able to tell us the price, filled out the paperwork for us and let us know when to expect it. They...

The rooms are spacious. The restaurant is a bit expensive. The breakfast toast and omelette were delicious. Close to Bay station to catch monorail to Disney.

The rooms were tight as are all Japanese Hotels in this category. A little tough for two people with two large suitcases so you'll have to improvise a bit. Onsen could be crowded in the evening. In the afternoons it's empty.
Biggest plus is location. Lots of great stuff within walking distance. Tensin Yatai area just a stop away. One stop to Hakata station. 24 hour grocery store just a few minutes away by foot.

Great hotel! Walking distance to shopping, subway, Hakata station. 7-11 right across the street. It was the largest room we had at the end of the trip for our family of 4. There was a lot of room for all of us to lay out our luggage and then some. They did not charge us for having too many people either.

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Fukuoka
Book for the cheapest times: Fukuoka is a destination that offers great value for money, especially for travelers on a budget. January, June, and September are the best times to visit when hotel rates could drop to lower prices, making it an affordable getaway. A stay of at least 2 to 3 days is ideal for exploring the city's rich history, charming landmarks, and cultural attractions such as temples, museums, and monuments. This budget-friendly trip promises a delightful experience, perfect for those looking to enjoy sightseeing and immersing themselves in Fukuoka's historical and cultural heritage.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To find enticing last-minute deals to Fukuoka, start by exploring the Deals or Last-Minute Dealsopens in new window section on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. To stay informed about flash sales and exclusive last-minute promotions, consider enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com. This way, you could find opportunities to save on hotels in Fukuoka Prefecture. Additionally, utilize the Smart Shopping tool available via the app to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're the first to know about any price drops or room availability for your last-minute getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a better deal on your stay in a Fukuoka hotel. If you're interested in unique accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalized experience and can sometimes offer greater value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher end, we’ll recommend alternative dates that could be more affordable.
Consider your location: Hotels near the city center usually tend to be pricier, but with Fukuoka's outstanding public transportation options, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well connected. For those interested in exploring alternative, less crowded neighborhoods or even lesser-known nearby cities, there is often great value to be found. Opting for these alternative locations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
