We had a great two night stay at the grand Astoria hotel. The staff were excellent parking our car and bringing all our luggage to the room while we went to the pool as we were early. The staff was over the top helpful at all times. It was in a great location to walk to the beach which the hotel looked after getting us our spot. All of the great restaurants and shops were right around the corner. We would definitely stay here again.

Man muss "alt-gediegene" Einrichtung mögen und es ist etwas düster. Aber die Dachterrasse mit Pool und Liegemöglichkeit ist nur super.
Außerdem ist es super zentral und auch zum Busbahnhof sind es nur 6-7 Minuten zu Fuß - wir sind mit dem Bus nach Aquileia gefahren - viel praktischer als mit dem Auto.

1. Worse customer service I have ever experienced in many a hotel around the world I have been to. They refused a simple request to prepare a simple salad with ham, cheese and bread which I could give to my friend when she arrived later that evening (note - they have their own restaurant in the hotel so this was such a simple request, it’s unbelievable they refused)
I was shocked and in disbelief the manager decided to call the police because I wanted to leave I was so disgusted and was willing to pay for the nights I had stayed but was not prepared to pay for the night I wanted to leave.
2. The manager is an ignorant person with zero customer service skills, and quite simply acted like a child in calling the police (all this with a smirk on his face)
Only after I made him apologise to me for the poor disgusting service and for calling the police for a minor dispute, then I settled the bill in full (even though I would not be staying there)
3. The room are so outdated and old. Much better places to stay in Grado.
I will never go back and never recommend this hotel.
It’s quite disgusting how they acted.

Skønt hotel - med super god service fra alle. perfekt beliggenhed. Særlig ros til parkeringsvagterne - de er meget serviceorienterede.
