Hotel Granvia Okayama

10/10 Excellent
"From the moment we walked into the entrance of the Granvia Hotel in Okayama, the magic began. We were greeted with wide smiles and a “happy to see you!” vibe. The one downer was that the luggage we had sent to this hotel was only partially delivered. The wonderful young lady at the front desk (Sato, Sumire) was very sympathetic and went out of her way to help us find the missing luggage. She called “Sagawa” delivery service and informed them of their mistake. The lady from Sagawa told us that our bag was still in Osaka and that it would be delivered the next day. Fortunately, I had an “Apple Air Tag” in the bag and knew the bag was in their Okayama distribution center. Our missing luggage was delivered to our hotel room within a few hours. We will highly recommend this hotel (Grandvia Okayama) to all our friends and anyone who asks. Again, please send our personal thanks to Ms. Sato, Sumire for her help and kindness. Aloha and mahalo!"

"Perfect location, awesome view from the 13th floor, and double glazing keeps it nice and quiet considering it's above the train station (with occasional but non-intrusive muffled train station noises sometimes filtering through). The breakfast is great and has an awesome outlook over the local platforms. The rooms are compact but remain accessible. The pillows are firm and 'feather/pipe straw' style, but surprisingly comfortable with no sore neck or back the next morning."
