It’s a no for me.
I know it’s on me to look more closely- but any hotel at this price point not having a fridge in the room was shocking and ridiculous. The front desk was always very very nice- but being told if we wanted ice we had to bring our tiny bucket down to the restaurant and ask someone to fill it up? Weird.
Secondly, when we first arrived there was an alarm distantly going off for more than an hour. I called the front desk to ask about it and see if someone could check the room next door. She said she was unsure- but would send maintenance. She arrived herself at the door 5 minutes later, listened to the alarm sound and said “oh there is a fire alarm going off on the fifth floor.” Um, what? You came up here to tell me that? I asked if there was a fire, she said no. Again, she was very sweet but good grief. The alarm stopped 5 minutes later. Was I the only one to tell the front desk about it? Hotel seemed pretty empty, so maybe.
Thirdly- the room was so so so damp. Enough that the sheets were sticky and uncomfortable. We changed the a/c settings many times but nothing helped. I did inform the front desk about this when we left.
Some parts of the hotel were pretty, but honestly it was basically the same experience as staying at a Motel 6. No amenities and no apparent reason on why this hotel cost this much for a night.
