Bathroom door doesnt close due to the position of the toilet. Dirty floors, bathtub is chipping away. Not a great room for the price i paid

Pretty good. Clean, friendly staff, no surprises. Plug for hair dryer didn’t work, had to go to reception and get another hairdryer and use a different plug. Over all good. Would stay there again.

A lot of the cheaper hotels in Lansing have a criminal/drug element. While I get the feeling it was present at this location it was very quiet and kept to itself. Felt safe there despite that.

Decent place for the price

A decent place for the price. Walls are a bit thin, but you get what you pay for. Being located right next to Horrocks was nice. Only real negative aspect of my stay was that there was something wrong with the toilet in room 134 when I arrived (the hose that was suppose to refill the holding tank was loose and sprayed water outside of the well), but once I took care of that, everything else was fine.

I was pleasantly surprised! I was traveling with (2) dogs and very tired. I got a king-size bed and slept like a log. I am genuine pleased with the bathroom as well. I would definitely go back to the Red Roof Inn Lansing West - MSU!

Not enough cheaper to make it worth it.

Two beds and one clearly gets more use than the other, it’s shot. No coffee maker or blow dryer. The light switches are annoying, in fact at the moment I haven’t figured out what turns the lights on over the lavatory. I’ve stayed here (and other RR) many times and always thought that just for a night’s rest they were fine, no more.

The room had filth all over the place. Dog fighting in the parking lot, police, obnoxiously loud music and hollering. I usually never put a bad review but this was seriously a bad hotel. I would not recommend this place for even the worst of enemies.

The font desk staff were very friendly. Also I dropped an item in the parking lot and they called me immediately to let me know. The room was what I would expect for the budget price, but under the bed hadn't been vacuumed and there was garbage under it as well the sink was very slow to drain.

It was satisfactory. Nothing special. It was quiet, felt safe, and the room was comfortable. Tub and shower needed work with a broken ADA seat in the tub, hole in the wall, and grimy caulking. Desk chair was dirty and stained. Other than that, the room was nice.

Floors dirty dead bug on floors had to wear shoes entire time, bathroom not clean blood on shower curtain, bed uncomfortable, wifi not working whole time.

I did not like the smell that the room had, it was an unpleasant smell. I believe it came from the rug/carpet near the beds. Another thing was that the bathroom door did not lock and it kept getting jammed when you tried to open it.
