Room itself was ok.
What’s really terrible was the front staff. Check-in at night with a male staff, I paid for the room using credit card via pos terminal, saw the transaction went through as ‘approved’ on the pos screen.
In the morning, we were woken up by a female staff knocking loudly on the door, saying we haven’t paid the room, transaction was declined, and need to go to front desk to sort it out. OK, give us time to sort ourselves as we just woke up.
15 minutes later she came back knocking again, I can tell she was aggravated saying pretty much they haven’t got the money, doesn’t really matter whether the transaction is showing in my account, and they won’t be able to accomodate us for 2 more nights if we don’t pay up ASAP.
Went down to reception and figured out the male staff didn’t link up the payment I made the night before to our booking!!! Talk about communication!
I was really upset with the way she threatened to kick us out, when it was really their miscommunication that’s causing these issues.
