The access to the reception area by car was really difficult to find - I think some more and larger signage is required. We had to do 3 passes to find the entrance even with our GPS.
Concierge staff were very helpful and friendly.
We had two interconnecting rooms which were set up in what at first appeared to be a really well thought out design, with a hallway that could be closed off from the rest of the hotel floor, and two individual hotel room doors off that hall. However, when it came time to sleep this design has one major flaw. The lights in that hallway are connected to the hallway lights in the rest of the hotel, and as such could not be controlled by us in the room. And they stayed on until 2am, and even then, if anyone got up to use the bathroom, the light sensor was triggered.
Because we were staying with our young kids we were not happy to close the room doors - the kids would not have been able to open the door on their own if they needed to get out. So our kids, and us, all had poor sleep because of how bright the hallway lights were. I think a separate switch for those lights would be very useful to use those rooms as interconnecting ones for families.
The dining options for families were minimal, breakfast buffet is essential for families I feel and this was missing. The alacarte menu for breakfast had no options that were suitable for kids. So at minimum a kids menu for breakfast would have made a big difference.
