Room was clean and nice, albeit above the restaurant so slightly noisy until about 9pm. Restaurants is good. The lounge area is nice, however the staff were really busy serving both lounge and pub and this resulted in some small delay and some lack of housekeeping in the lounge area. Breakfast was good. We really enjoyed our stay at the Imperial. We got a friendly welcome, by a staff who proved to be pleasant all the way, and had the opportunity to eat the *best* breakfasts we ever had in a hotel. No boring self served buffet, no bottled juice, only fresh and tasty food prepared for you on demand. Overall, the Imperial offers a very informal but qualitative experience, that we can only recommend.

Just the most beautiful hotel n a stunning hotel on the island. Restaurant food outstanding, views breathtaking, staff very friendly helpful, hotel inside and out first class! Very easy parking right outside or across road with disc, opposite beach and easy to find too. Price wise it’s reasonable for the island but the quality n experience is worth it!! A must stay in my book!!! This is my 3rd time here and won’t be my last! A little further out of main Guernsey but car driving easy n buses stop right outside so that isn’t a showstopper at all!!! Absolutely worth a few nights here I would recommend.

This hotel has had a makeover since I last stayed and is much nicer. There are two sitting areas downstairs, a new restaurant with superb food and views, and the staff are very helpful and welcoming. The location is amazing - early morning swims are easy and sunsets are beautiful, and it is on major bus routes. I would definitely recommend it and return myself - the only drawback is that there is no lift - it just isn't possible to incorporate in an old building.

The perfect place to stay on Guernsey! We booked a day and a half look-around on Guernsey and chose The Imperial for its location across the island from St Peter Port, to explore half one day and half the next. When we arrived, we were so glad to have lucked out with the somewhat secluded waterfront location with gorgeous view right from our room, lovely and accommodating staff and delicious meals for dinner and breakfast. The Imperial is perfect for settling in and feeling at home with generous meals and a cozy bar and public space. It feels like a home on the water but with amazingly friendly neighbors ready to help with whatever you need. We've thought of returning and staying again for the ultimate quiet getaway which is also minutes from any place you could want to visit on beautiful Guernsey.

My stay at the Imperial was wonderful. The food was superb and the staff couldn’t have more friendly and helpful. I was made to feel very special. The bed was large and extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. In time the room needs up - dating as does the shower but I have no real complaints there. And there was a tray that not only had tea and coffee but biscuits and a chocolate drink - a lovely touch for me anyway!
