Location was good. Unit itself was ok, spacious and clean but several things needing fixing- kitchen tap, fluoro light coverings missing, no towel hooks or rails in the bathroom, no lamp in one bedroom.

The building layout was good. We could not block out early morning sunlight. My feet got dirty walking around the apartment after showering.

No office, no communication, pool was unusable, missing towel rails and other things missing in bathroom, outside table and chairs covered in cobwebs, photos didn’t match what the place was like.

Great spot - close to city centre, and nice area. The apartment was a good space, good size but it’s definitely like student accommodation (every bedroom door has a lock and a key) Also 1 night we were there as putting kids to bed 3 car loads of guys pulled up, 1 car parked in front of our apartment they swam in the pool for 45mins then left - like they’ve done it before or regularly. Apartment could definitely have done with a spring clean. Kitchen was well equipped (3 rice makers in cupboards!) Comfortable place to rest your head but not very welcoming. One major plus was the size of the bath towels!! Finally a decent sized towel 🙌

Rooms were clean and tidy. Communication is hard as there is no office and no staff at the property. Walls are very thin and you can hear neighbours.

Worst hotel experience I’ve had since backpacking
On the morning of check-in the hotel called asking me to send through my drivers licence to a mobile number. It was a hassle since I was driving all day, & I asked why. They said it was a legislative requirement in Australia. I called this out for the rubbish that it is – that simply isn’t true. The operator said she was insulted by what I’d said and hung up. I thought that maybe the call was a scam so I emailed the hotel and received a very curt response “This is our Covid safe check in policy. You will be required to follow the check in process or free to cancel. No dramas.” That’s a great note to receive during the summer high season. Later that morning I emailed through my ID, but didn’t receive a response with my room check-in code (so I couldn’t access my room). I arrived at the hotel at about 6pm, still with no way to check-in. Because the hotel has no office I called several times but they did not answer. Perhaps they were screening my calls? I called using my son’s phone & finally got through. Eventually I received my room code but it was very stressful. We stayed in room 8, which was dirty – dust and cobwebs on window sills, in cupboards etc. Worn carpets with pulled threads & stains. The towels were worn-out, stained and disgusting. No aircon or fans in the bedrooms, except a portable unit in my son’s room. We were really hot. The main room had a water damaged ceiling. It wasn’t a nice place to be, especially following the hostility of the hotel staff.

So very disappointing
The property is of a good size and our Apartment had a smart TV. The check in process was OK for us after a quick call. Booked in January for our 2 night August stay and I had requested a quiet room, preferably top floor. What we were assigned to was a ground floor apartment on a busy residential road. It would seem that like all Australian accommodation on our 6 week holiday, double glazing isn’t the universal noise and heat loss window joinery solution of choice and so the front of the apartment suffered badly from road noise. Perhaps there wasn’t enough room for double glazing on the Endeavour when discovered 250 years ago. The apartment has zero sound insulation from the people above, so you can hear them too moving around, flushing toilets, boiling a kettle, chatting into the small hours; perhaps the road noise is keeping them up too? There was nO where to hang damp towels in the bathroom, not even the hand towel. The bathroom also had smelly drains too and inadequate lighting. The internet did not extend to the back bedroom, where naively we tried to seek refuge at bedtime from the relentless road noise. Perhaps we needed to pay extra for sofa cushions, hangers in all bedrooms and appropriate cleaning of the kitchen cupboards, guest towels and bathroom lighting and fan. Disgusting. The apartment is overpriced for the awful experience endured. Should have booked one of the many other options available in Tamworth that are about a third cheaper and probably just

Everything was good and the pool was crystal clean however the gate to pool needs to be rectified as it gets caught on the grassy mound and doesn’t close automatically which is a real safety issue as it was left open on occasion.. I had young grandchildren that can’t swim so it was a constant source of worry and is totally not in accordance with Australian standards please have this fixed as soon as possible

Good apartment, well kept. Few small maintenance issues like broken blinds, gaps in doors, missing hooks in bathroom but a good venue for a family. Left some weetbix out for the kids which was a nice touch

Spacious apartment great for families the full size containers of juice & milk in the fridge was a wonderful surprise, they also provided bread, jam, cereal & margarine. Antibacterial hand wash & wipes were also supplied. My only suggestion would be a larger TV but Great value for $$$ 4 stars from me 😃

Contactless check in was simple and well communicated. Very comfortable beds with air conditioning that kept our children cool in the summer heat was a great relief. Parking directly outside our apartment door. Pool was clean, property well maintained. The fresh bread, carton of milk, cereal and other essentials was greatly appreciated. Will definitely be returning guests and would recommend to anyone.

Disappointed - hot bedrooms/noisy air con
Nice apartment, very spacious and bigger than what we booked (apartment 6, 3 bedroom - booked a 2 bedroom.) However it was advertised as air conditioned, but the bedrooms were like hot boxes. Kids couldn't sleep in rooms so dragged mattresses for them into living room under split system air con to sleep. Hubby & I tried to sleep in a room that had a portable window vented air con unit, this cooled the room with some modifications, but was far too noisy to sleep next to. Raised the issue with reception contact (who we never saw) by text message, asked to move apartments for the 2nd night, but no option offered, just told to leave split system in lounge and portable unit in bedroom on all day, and keep doors closed. Still did not reduce the temp of the other 2 bedrooms, which were unusable. Very disappointed, hope the other apartments have decent working air con, but not sure if we will give this property another try in the future to see. So tired from lack of sleep after 2 nights that we had to stay another night in Tamworth - at a motel with working, quiet air con!
