The hotel is in a good location, not too close to the medina but in an area with bars, restaurants and a couple of grocery stores. It has a great rooftop sitting area and the staff is very helpful and attentive.
I had a great stay, although I wasn't there much, mostly touring around. I had dinner in the the restaurant, which was very good, a little expensive. My only negative comment is that the breakfast probably isn't worth $10 USD. I got there a little later in the morning but probably would have done better to eat in one of the nearby cafes.
Two other comments, lots of Americans and lots of older people in the hotel, according to one of my guides, and it did seem to be true. It doesn't matter to me, I am American but I live in Paris, so I understand how it could be positive to some travelers and not so much to others.
Overall a great hotel in terms of facilities, services and location.
