住宿區真的有很多猴子，成群的猴子會上下爬行於外面的窗戶，旅館都有警告標示特別提醒，非常貼心，可千萬不要打開窗戶。 有南谷生態導覽解說，全程兩小時，免費，但是要步行，希望可以多增設導覽的時間和地點，一天只有早上（8:30）跟下午（14:30）2場。
