The room decor was very funny someone had obviously taken care to plan it. But, the room was not very clean (I won’t go into details but it looked like they stopped cleaning half way through). No toilet paper or simple amenities such as coffee creamer and sugar. They said to put “do not disturb sign” on the door by 8:00 am, but no sign was given. And, the decor was cute and the sheets seemed clean, but the buildings are old and in need of a little TLC (it was next to impossible to get the sliding door open/closed and equally hard to lock it!). The front desk staff was very nice and the lodge was also nice, and it was very convenient to have the cantina on sight. It was not a horrible visit but the uncleanliness and lack of care in some simple things ( no toilet paper!!) kind of overshadowed the good stuff. The lake was beautiful and we heard a bull elk bugling right outside our window!

Great location - right in park by lake with animals around. one morning we saw deer from our room and one evening by hotel lobby there was a bison. The room was clean and comfortable and staff was good. Dining options nearby are limited.

I did not pay close to $400 to stay in a factory-made cabin and not be able to access any internet, not even in the lobby area. The Wylie's Canteen is bit of a joke with such limited choices of food.

We loved the property and the convenient location for day trips. The cabins were clean and met our needs. What we didn’t like was the limited hours and variety of food available. We left to explore each day well before any was available. At check in the young lady was a bit snippy. However she is the only employee that was not friendly and smiling.

Don't let the rustic outdoor of the property fool you. The inside was wonderful and very clean. No a/c but the fan that was provided kept the room nice and cool when we returned in the evening. The shower water pressure was amazing! The lake view was so pretty with bison and elk playing in the fields. There is no wifi but there is in the lodge, however, it was very slow and frustrating to use. We ate at the diner in the lodge. The menu is limited but what we had was very good. There aren't any restaurants, stores, or fuel stations close by so be sure to bring some food if you don't want to eat at their one restaurant in the lodge. I would definitely stay here again!
