Is very nice fro people moving to are to use while apartment hunting. They have kitchenetts, Staff is nice and speak several languages. It is reasonably quiet. I saw on review someone said the internet no work but it does. I work from my computer and have never had an issue uploading documents. If your rom connects to another room bathroom you may hear the water but it is not very disturbing. I highly reccomend

8/10 Very Good

This small hotel is clean and quiet, being tucked away between the apartment buildings on a side-road off the major Viale dei Quattro Venti. I love the Italian language and culture, so I found living in a local neighbourhood delightful. The front desk staff all spoke English, and we got by elsewhere in the area with my broken Italian and the good humour of the local proprietors and workers (many of whom spoke enough English to help us at need). We stayed in a room with a kitchenette, which we stocked with supplies (so affordable!) from a local supermarket. The kitchen was missing a few essentials (like forks), which we acquired from a general store, but nothing the hotel provided was broken. The room was small by North American standards, and the shower did not drain particularly well, but it was clean and quiet, and had its own private bathroom. A streetcar (tram) (no.8 “P.za Venezia”) stops at the bottom of the Viale dei Quattro Venti (a fifteen-minute walk from the hotel) and runs through Trastevere to the Piazza Venezia and the heart of Ancient Rome. The no.8 “Castello” will bring you back again. A train from the Quattro Venti train station, which is a mere five-minute walk from the hotel, will take you to the Vatican City. (Just remember to buy some bus tickets at a newsstand or bar before boarding either of these.) At the end of our trip, we caught the train from the Trastevere station (on the streetcar route) to get to the airport.

2/10 Poor

The staff were kind and helpful. The hotel said it offered free WiFi and it NEVER worked the whole four days booked. We only got our room service when we requested it so that was an issue. The hotel room was outdated. I felt like i was in a movie in the 1700's. But for $35 dollars a night... I guess we got what we paid for.

Thank you hotel.com
It was a good stay especially since I had to book it at the last moment when my reservation was cancelled by one of your competitor site. I will stay with hotel.com for some time to come. I would have preferred a better blankets for the sleep but was manageable.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was excellent . Our room was comfortable, I would have really liked a kettle in my room so I could make my English cup of tea in the morning but other than that everything was perfect. Thank you to all the staff.

Great hotel for the price
I was a bit apprehensive after reading the reviews, but after arriving, we found nothing to be concerned about. Ok, the rooms are a bit dated, but to me, that added to the charm. Room was clean, big enough and comfortable. If I have two tiny gripes, it would be the darkness of the bathroom with dark green tiles on the walls and lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room (is this just an English thing?) Location was great. Far enough outside the city centre for some peace and quiet, but close enough to hop on a tram (5 mins walk away) or train (3 mins walk) which takes you into the centre. Didn't have breakfast, do can't comment on that. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a pleasant enough experience, would recommend for others who are on a budget.

2/10 Poor

Terrible
We had bed bugs and when we complained in a rather patient manner the staff was extremely defensive and rude. It was suggested we might be mistaken or that the bugs may have come in from from outside the hotel. We saw them with our own eyes! We were given another room though, although not on a different floor as requested. The place was filthy (although bedsheets and towels were clean) old and tired. Hairdryer was broken, TV broken. When we politely suggested maybe we shouldn't have to pay the city tax because of our trouble this was met with more defensiveness and excuses. I was suggest giving this place a very wide birth.

One benefit to this hotel was the location. It was close to the tram and the metro station. The staff was friendly and gave me proper instructions to getting around Rome. The downside to this hotel is the size of the beds and shower which was really small. The rooms can be updated and use more lightening. For the most part it was decent for my 8 day stay. I would recommend if you’re on a budget and want something real basic.

Very small shower, you have been warned! Parking is very hard to find. The hotel is also hard to find. The staff are great. Breckfast is not as good as the other hotels we stayed at. Not much shopping and few resturants in the area. It is close to bus and trolly stops.

4/10 Fair

A real budget hotel
BAD POINTS Access is not good as down a narrow side street. Hotel is dated and not well maintained. The rooms and on suite are dated, but functional. We had change rooms 3 times in two days due to poor electrical issues. One room even had the fans on the light striking the wardrobe doors. The breakfast was OK, for a budget, not one that I enjoyed. GOOD POINTS Staff were nice and very helpful. All spoke good English. Access to centre of Rome was a five minute walk to the Tram and a 15 minute tram journey. OVERALL If you are on a tight budget, then it is fine. If you want anything more than a basic room and a breakfast, I would look somewhere else.
