Payment issue and no heating
The receptionist was terrible. He was not friendly. When I paid my bill with my US credit card, he did not ask me to pay Euro or USD, he select USD in a split of second before I had time to react. I complained that he should have asked me first because all other vendors did give me the choice. He responded that the Hotel always charged USD if you were not from Euro zone countries. If I pay in Euro, the exchange rate is based on the official rate. However, If I pay in USD, the exchange rate is way higher than the official rate. Another bad experience is that the room was very cool during my stay in early December. There was an AC control, but it only blew the cool air, not heating air.
