We were a little disappointed with the room. The bed was very hard, but we did get a “topper” for the second night. The AC was not cooling, but it was fixed. Apparently 4 rooms are grouped in the same system, and if one room sets to “heat” it affects the other 3. When we entered the hotel we noticed a particular smell. It became evident that it was from a bug spray, as we had a problem with ants in the room. Our room was not swept when it was cleaned. We were charged €1.50 per day for the room safe.
Breakfast was skimpy, but what you’d expect from a 3* hotel. There were no hot or fish options. The WiFi was fine, but open access. The best part of the hotel was Filipa, the receptionist. She was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and available. Parking is at an absolute premium. There are a few spots across the street, but if you don’t get one it’s an adventure.
