Mathieu, really hospitality, persnonally recommended the cocktail he made, also the breakfast! The yogurt and the orange juice all the fresh fruits bring me Fresh day. And I love croissants also the eggs dishes really delicious.

Family-owned little hotel in a convenient location

This hotel with a strange name is a little family-run place, where we happened to stay for three nights during Christmas. The taxi, however, identified the address without problem as the street is rather well-known to people; it is a few blocks away from red light district. We were warmly welcomed by Rachel (who is originally from Wisconsin) and her husband, and introduced to a room on the second floor up the little steep stairway. For the old construction of this area, however, it must be usual. The room was not spacious but efficiently arranged and quite clean. As it was not facing the street, we were able to spend quiet nights. Breakfast was very satisfactory for the start of the morning and Rachel served a very helpful concierge for everything like how to buy tram tickets and what was the best way to save money for the use of public transportations and where to eat. We were able to meet with their little lovely daughter Sophia, and grandparents who live in Rotterdam, because it was Christmas. A very nice family. There are numerous eating places in the area including European, Chinese and even Indonesian restaurants and many pubs. The subway station is 2 minutes away also. This hotel is highly recommended for those who like to touch with the warm family atmosphere and to enjoy the downtown crowd.

It's a heritage cosy hotel dating back 2 centuries on the canal bank right in the middle of the historic centre of Amsterdam. The owners were around and not only were they sweet but went out of the way to help us with our exploration of the city. There's a small cocktail bar that opens in the evening and serves some killer thematic cocktails. A must stay if you wish to experience subtle opulence, heritage and true hospitality.

Just a very great surprise, cute, decorared perfectly, quiet, excelent staff, family run. Definatly would stay again. The bedroom was once again stylish and decorated perfectly. Free coffee, breakfast, snacks, drinks, clean, comfortable, set right on the edge of the red light district. Perfect

O melhor hotel de Amsterdam

Tudo foi perfeito. Fomos muito bem recebidos com uma surpresa no quarto que era estilo indiano e dois drinks de cortesia. A localização é ótima, o conforto e limpeza são impecaveis e o charme do hotel é o ponto forte. Decidimos que este vai ser o nosso hotel sempre que formos para AMS. Loved this hotel!

Loved staying here! Staff was welcoming and full of info about what to do in Amsterdam. Location was a block away from the red light district, but still quiet, overlooking a canal. Great breakfast and complimentary food and beverages in your room. And just an adorable vibe with authentic Dutch feel. My only complaints where that there was no elevator (because this is a canal house, this is normal), and the shower had a little mold in the corners. But otherwise clean, cozy, and welcoming. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful stay in this quaint hotel. We especially loved the breakfast with the thoughtfully designed granola and fresh squeezed orange juice. Excellent location too. Highly recommend!

Rosalia's is a gem in the city. The staff are kind and so helpful, and the ambiance is magnificent. The breakfast is delicious and prompt, and the hotel is located in the center of the city, which makes it easy to walk to all the sites and catch trains/transportation to other parts of the Netherlands. The hotel is located above a speakeasy-style cocktail bar that serves amazing drinks.

Super lækkert sted. Læste de gode anmeldelser på Google og Expedia og intet skuffede. Det perfekte lille hyggelige sted med super autentisk indretning og udsmykning. Lille hotel med 5 værelser(tror jeg) og det er med store lækre senge og alt hvad man skal bruge. Værelserne er flot og meget autentisk udsmykket og der er dejlig rent. Vi havde værelse ud til kanalerne, øverst og var lækkert. Ikke for megen støj selvom vi sov med åbne vinduer. Morgenmad er hvor de laver det hele til dig og bringer ud. Så ikke noget buffet og morgenstress. Lækker morgenmad og afslappende atmosfære. Hotellet ligger i perfekt gåafstand til alt hvad Amsterdam byder. Vi vil bestemt vælge det her igen 💪 Tak for 3 super gode dage 🙏❤️

Langhelg i Amsterdam

Hyggelig lite hotell med koselig rom, men en veldig bratt trapp, egner seg ikke for eldre som er dårlig til beins. Hyggelig betjening og veldig god frokost. Ligger veldig sentralt til med kort vei til det meste.

The property does have a lot stairs but the staff takes the luggage to your room. The inn has a very unique decoration and the staff was great.

The location is good. The breakfast was pretty average continental breakfast. A boudoir-style room is tight with dim lighting. Some people, especially on honeymoon, may like it. However, the room was not lit enough for us. The service was pretty negligent: the day-time window curtains were missing, the bathroom was not equipped with a shelf, absolutely no space to put shaving and other accessories, the bottle with soap was empty. A small towel was missing. After request, an additional bath towel was given instead. However, after regular change two days later, one small towel was missing again. We believe, the current hotel is greatly overpriced.
