Many burned out lightbulbs in room and stairways; refrigerator didn't work; requires your own dishwashing to avoid fee, yet when I opened the cabinets most of the "clean" dishes upon my arrival weren't clean

The surfaces were not very clean. Noisy residents deliberately crashing about in the corridors at night. The heating system didn't work sufficiently.

No hot water
While the hotel room was clean and roomy, we stayed here two different nights, about 4 nights apart, and we didn't have hot water for showers either time. The first night, we were told that the problem was being fixed, so when we returned to town later, we stayed again -- at that time we were told that no one in the hotel had hot water. The second time we checked in, the hotel staff was very rude and uncooperative (first time they were friendly and positive). Hotel location is convenient to the Grenoble Train and Bus Stations, but the convenience was minimized by the rest of the experience.

Not a Hotel, but a barebones hostel/apartment
No housekeeping was offered on a 4-day stay. The elevator was broken for about 3 days and I was placed in a room on the 6th floor. It required walking up with luggage. There was little to no hot water. It wasn't cold, but lukewarm. Also, heaters didn't work in the room. Rooms accommodations were sparse with a mix match of silverware, dishes, and pots.

Close to the station
This apartment hotel, is close to the train station. It's not the closest, and you have to come out the back way from the station. The room I had was shabby, there were cobwebs in the reception, the bathroom was stained. I survived the couple of days I stayed, but it wasn't a pleasant experience.

very convenient for train station
The room has a nice refridgerator and kitchenette. It is also very large. Don't plan on leaving in a hurry as the city taxes are never actually included and it takes the reception a long time to calculate how much you actually owe.

Needs a little updating
stayed here for two nights for business. The hotel is very close to Grenoble train station and the centre of the city. The room itself was a one bedroomed apartment styled room. If I was staying longer than I would have maybe used the kitchenette utilities. A clean room with carpet only in the bedroom and a very comfortable bed. I can't fault the room - the shower was powerful and had great lighting in the bathroom. There were no English TV channels which again wasn't that much of a big deal as I didn't have time to watch much. However there are two main issues that I had. Firstly - breakfast was not the best that I have had. There is a choice of bread, meats, cereals and yoghurts but I found that the presentation wasn't great and if things ran out that they weren't replenished. IN addition, there was nowhere to select "with breakfast" whilst booking online and they don't mention the price of breakfast throughout the trip until it is time for you to check out. However, I should have checked so the onus was totally on me. Secondly - the corridors of the hotel smelt awful - like damp. I really think they could do with a new lease of life. An OK hotel suitable for a few nights at best.

Is it a hotel?
Big room, located near the train station, but quiet. However the hotel is not well run. Room was filthy and nothing worked. Instead of cleaning the room staff left my ground floor window open all day so it wouldn't smell(!). Not like I had any valuables in the room . . . Like my computer and passport.

3 star starts and ends in the lobby
The 3 star rating begins and ends in the lobby. The room was freezing, but the staff did lend me a space heater. The hallway carpet was badly stained. The hallway light sensor worked when it wanted to, which was mostly in the daytime, not night, usually leaving the hallway completely dark in the night. 3 star hotels have shampoo in the rooms; mine room did not the first night. 3 star hotels have hot water 24 hours; mine did not the morning I left. Black mold was caked in the bathtub corners. The carpet in my room had been vacuumed, except for the edges. I regret booking this one.

Great Location
Very pleasant staff and could all speak both French and English. The kitchen was very well equipped, although I was slightly confused that there was a kettle and no cups to drink from. The hotel was very well positioned for local tourist attractions. We walked to all the places we wanted to visit.

Park & Suites Hotel
This hotel is not worth the money spent. The rooms are not clean. We found mold in our bathroom in the shower. The carpets were not vacuumed and we found many different cobwebs throughout the rooms. We switched from our original room, but this one was not much better. The good thing about this hotel is the location. The hotel is next to the train station and city center. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Still no wifi in 2011
This is a reliable comfortable 'bolt hole' for work visits to Grenoble run by a generally charming crew. For a business facility not to have wifi (or ethernet cables available) in every room is nonetheless a huge disadvantage. If you are booking you need to reserve a 1990's style modem kit which you can then plug into your phone socket in your room: but they don't have enough for everyone by a long way.

Park & Suites Elegance - spacious apartments
This hotel offers a range of flats. I stayed in a "studio flat" which in fact was a 1-bedroom apartment with a small kitchen corner. It was spacious, the facilities were simple but good, and the location is ideal for the train station and the Europol business district. I would definitely return. The breakfast at the hotel, however, was not worth the price. Better move to a bakery nearby.

Inexpensive, Clean, Comfortable, Close to Everything
I don't know what else to say - the hotel was inexpensive, clean, comfortable, close to everything. We took the train from Geneva Airport, and the hotel was right in front of the main train station in Geneva, and a minute walk from everything you want to see in Geneva. Also - free breakfast! (Which in Geneva is a big savings) Right next to a nice British pub. Friendly service. Restaurants all around.

Suites are roomy, no air conditioning though. Convenient location - near train and bus stations and tram line. Beware, the continental breakfast is not free - 9 euros/day is a bit much for coffee and a roll. Also, internet is limited to one terminal in the lobby or a "dial up kit."

Avis hôtel
Lors d'un séjour à Grenoble, j'ai réservé cette hôtel pour 3 nuits. La localisation est juste à côté de la gare ce qui est pratique par contre lors de l'arrivée, il restait des aliments dans le frigo qui était éteint. Suite à la première nuit, je me suis aperçu que mon matelas était rempli de puces de lit (piqûres à gogo) ..... Le frigo ne refroidissait pas, les lampes de chevet de la chambre n'était pas fonctionnelles. Bref un hôtel a éviter.
