Tired but quiet
Darren was very pleasant and attentive, but the room was tired. The entrance into the property was very narrow, due to a caravan parked next to the entry gate and a small ditch on the other side.
Charlotte the spider greeted us at the front entrance, on arrival and each morning when we needed to leave.
None of the windows opened and the sky light kept me up at night when the security light was triggered. The main wall of windows was opaque so couldn't see outside.
The shower wasn't working-- though Darren fixed it within 15 min-- but it was a very slow flow and difficult to use since the shower door didn't stay closed.
Bed was low to the ground, not very firm and you rolled to the middle. Small table was over the heater and very wobbly, so couldn't lean on it or really use it as a table.
Fridge was ok, but it needed to be defrosted to remove the large ice block taking up most of the space on the main shelf.
Linens were clean and we liked the country field painting in the room.
