Staff were kind and professional. The building is brand new, having opened just last month. Stayed for four nights and had no issues.
The attached cafe was fine, but nothing special. Good for a convenient meal if you’re starving, but it’s in one of the most diverse neighborhoods of Shinjuku, so live a little.
Check out the balcony, accessible by the staircase outside the front entrance. Good view of the street below and a great place to unwind. The laundry room is right next to it. One of the washers was broken (How? It’s brand new), but I didn’t run into problems doing laundry there. As a bonus, it has AC.
The hotel isn’t too close to the heart of Shinjuku, but it’s got plenty of nightlife close by, and Shinjuku Station is a 15 minute walk away. The neighborhood doesn’t feel touristy, for better or for worse, so keep that in mind before you book a room. Personally I was a fan, though you may not be.
