Nagoya is one of my favorite cities in Japan as I love the cultural experience while full of history and many great spots to visit nearby in Gifu and Mie prefecture. And of course Nagoya the city herself also has a lot of fun spots such as Sakae.

Nagoya is quiet and cozy during the daytime- definitely a different vibe from Tokyo, and a lot of the tourist spots are walkable from the hotel. During the night, Fushimi comes alive with amazing and vibrant nightlife, perfect for drinks and fun.

Bustling area around Nagoya Station with local trains to JR Railway Museum, Legoland and other great arcade/shops if you're on a shopping spree. Great dining choices close to Nagoya station, Yata Sake bar close by definitely worth a visit!

Nagoya is an underappreciated gem of a city. It feels almost like the industrial hub of central Japan and has plenty of technology and industry related museums. Highly recommended to anyone interested in the history of Toyota.

It is a vivid city, with a couple of interesting attractions to spend a full day at, vibrant nightlife, plenty of restaurants and good food, kind of underestimated I would say...

The Toyota Museum is great, as is the Noritake ceramics museum. I saw it last in 2011, but it was fun in 2024 too.
"Helpful staff and a great location. Superb room with double double bunks beds ideal for a family of two adults two teens - why don’t more hotels offer this?!"
"I would like to thank the hotel manager on duty on 6 Aug - he walked me to the Meitetsu building at 0650 hrs to take the train to Chubu Int airport. He goes the extra mile for the hotel guest. Much appreciated. "
"The breakfast restaurant is located on the lobby floor on 31/F. The view is great that you can see the nagoya station and bullet train. There is a lot of choices of food and drink, including the mini version of nagoya famous dishes, grilled eel rice, miso katsu, toast with red bean and cream. The room facilities are good, separate toilet, washbasin and shower/bath room. However, there isn't any hook or rack for placing towel or clothes inside the shower/bath room. Other than this, I can feel the hotel service is very attentive. All the staff are very friendly and helpful."
