Like the concept but its not there yet
Nice place and good location byt very dissapointing that everyone done over email or text as there was broken faucet on bathtub. Tried to communicate with the office and tell them that there is no water for 2 days and i wanted refund but was simply told nothing can be done. Will just pay the extra 50 to 100 dollars a night for the hotel next time.

Think twice before booking
We arrived late evening and waited 20 minutes on street in front on pub for someone to meet us. I had to call answering service twice. First time they said 5 minites ... then called back 15 minutes later and theu said another 5 minutes till someone could meet us. I found empty McDonald's cup under the bed, we had to run the washer through a couple cycles because it had an odor, ther place could use better cleaning. At the very least it needs some baking sheets and kettle in kitchen. The patio doors didn't lock and for majority of the weekend, only one of the three elevators were working l. Which caused significant delays and line ups for the elevator.

Very poor experience overall starting with a broken elevator which made meetings difficult. Very poor wifi which could not support zoom calls and barely support web surfing, A slow drain and a non working shower. Also I realized they gave me a lower tier room when a bigger one was paid for. And very poor customer service when complaints were made. Do not stay.

The first day I got there I noticed the bathroom was not very clean. Pee on the toilet, soap scum in the bath. I can deal with that. Later when I came back after grabbing dinner, somebody had entered the room when i was gone, took apart the fan coil in the wall beside the bed, and let it wide open with the screws all over the floor. When i phoned and texted the numbers left I got no response. I emailed Globalstay and they stated it was against policy to enter without notice. After that they have completely blown me off, ignoring the fact the room was still in shambles right until I left. No answers at all. I felt extremely exposed knowing somebody could see when I wasn't there (camera?) and came in, moved my things and left me a mess to walk over for 4 days. Globalstay was absolutely ZERO help. NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!

This stay could have been easily a 5 star however here is the pros and cons of my stay. 1. Responsive team to calls/emails 2. Beautiful location near the CN tower and beautiful view from 51st floor. 3. Walkable location Cons 1. Poor communication. We weren’t told exactly which tower we would be staying at and the proper floor. They communicated that via phone not email, and it was hard to understand. It took us 40 mins. 2. We had to obtain the key to the condo from a bench with over 40 lockboxes and not knowing exactly which one we are supposed to open. It took us 40 mins to finally locate the right one. 3. It took us 45 minutes during checkout to get down from the 51 floor to the bottom as there was only one working elevator and it was full every time it arrived. We had to go down 21 stairs with our suitcases and luggage to catch the low rise elevator. 4. We paid for parking and before we arrived we were told that the parking isn’t available. After we found alternative parking, they told us it’s now available. This ended up making us pay more for parking that anticipated. Although they did refund us the payment for the parking. 5. I am not sure if they are even allowed to operate part of Expedia part of the towers policy. Like i said earlier. This could have easily been a 5 star review. But the following issues made it a 3.

There is no front desk and you need to meet someone to get the key and get instructions. The person spoke broken English and could not get parking gate to work. I had to call someone to get into the parking garage. At first we were told we couldn’t use parking garage and then at the last minute we were able to pay through PayPal and get parking. The cleaning/ security deposit was also suspicious to me because we again went through PayPal. I was very concerned about getting the security deposit back and waited to do this review because I wanted to make sure we got the full amount back. We loved the location. We walked everywhere except the concert we went to but were able to get an Uber. The space is quite small but it was fine for 2 of us. It was clean and the full kitchen was available but we didn’t use it. Parking is crazy expensive in this area but if you can arrange it through Globalstay it was very reasonable. We would stay here again.

Check-in didn't start off on right foot. We were at meeting spot right at 3pm, check-in time. Even communicated 30 min before as requested to confirm meeting of representative. Called 3 times. Sent numerour texts but no texts were responded too. Representative arrived an hour late due to an accident en route. Every time I called they said representative is on the way - there was no udpate or explanation that they were delayed due to accident. Representative was apologetic and nice and we knew it wasn't his fault but waiting for the hours after a day of flying wasn't great either. Overall the space was nice but was really tight for 8 people. We didn't know that there was a main power switch and had it switched off whenever we were out so the air conditioner stopped. It was so warm when we'd return and didn't realize why. I had to email to ask about temperature settings. The first night was so uncomfortable because we turned off all the switches. There was no hair dryer, I did email about it but they said they'd look into it but never followed through. The listing mentions pool & fitness room but when I asked they said it was only for long-term stays (that should be mentioned somewhere). We did check beforehand that we'd have 8 towels as there was 8 of us. However for toilet paper there were 2 bathrooms that each had a full roll and then there was only 1 extra roll in one of the bathrooms. There should've been an extra roll in other bathroom but no help given.

Great location in downtown Toronto, next to Harborfront. Safe building, lots of fantastic eating places around. Good building, safe and quiet. The apartment itself needs some work, e.g. carpets not very clean, main door and one closet door didn't close easily, bathtub doesnt drain quickly. We decided to cut our visit short by a day.

It was advertised as a hotel but it's apartment that's rented. No visible staff. Building is for tenants. Had to find apartment key under some random park bench.
