10/10 Exceptional

Comfortable 2 nights.
The room was clean, linens clean, bed comfortable, tub including jets clean & maintained. All around we was happy with the room and at a great price too. You can tell they’ve been working to make updates and upgrades to all the rooms. The gentleman I talked to to check in was super nice and got things done even with his busy schedule tending to several other guest he got us taken care of and answered our questions. I won’t dog on the place but feel I still should warn about the breakfast set up. First off the restaurant that serves the breakfast allows smoking in it so if you can’t handle smoke avoid it (took everything for me to stay). Second the regulars will always come first by the server and by the cook or it’s how it was when we stayed. I was very specific with my order due to food allergies and sensitivity yet one of the things I said Do Not Put on my plate but on a Seperate plate to go to my husband and watched my server write it all down was right on my veggie omelet. So there went half my omelet because it wasn’t safe for me to eat and after waiting an hour and a half I wasn’t going to ask for them to fix it. Server walked by us 6 times before we could get her attention for a coffee refill and request a water that was grossly chlorinated. Our server never came back to offer a refill or anything. So I would recommend the Hotel but look for an alternative for meals.

8/10 Very Good

Clean, cosy and close to the highway!
I really the cleanliness was good. While there is a place for "check in/registration" no one was in the office. The complimentary breakfast, to my understanding was down the street at a diner, but they also offered 15 percent off a regular breakfast if you so chose to do. We brought our own breakfast stuff so we didn't utilize it. My wife and daughters had stayed here before and enjoyed it, but she noted it seemed like it may be under new ownership, as the check in/out was by phone. They texted the room code and wifi things to your cellphone. Seems inpersonal, but as I said no one was at the property that we could tell, other than guests. Our only issue we had was a toilet not flushing well, (those things can happen at any time, anywhere you travel- so it wasn't a dire situation) and they left a plunger like we asked, although it was a sink plunger (which most people use for a toilet) but it wasn't very effective at least as effective as a toilet plunger would be. It happened on our last night there and wasn't a major issue, and I'm sure someone would have come out if we needed it. They were very responsive to our texts (which is the way we communicated since it was how we got the codes and figured it was the easiest way. My wife already has a room booked there in the spring and she still plans on staying again, so the small issue we had isn't a deal breaker, as it shouldn't be.

Made it through but wouldn’t go back
Check in was very impersonal. No contact with a person, it’s all done via your phone. There used to be a cafe associated with the inn where you had to go to check in but he closed that and has a truck stop 1/4 mile down the road. The room itself was clean but a they could stand to do an update on a few things and a deep clean 2x a year: the window frames, screens, door frames, baseboards, etc. Luckily it is a very remote area because with all the trucks coming in and out, the road noise could have been much worse through the night. Don’t go to the truck stop for the “continental” breakfast. They offered cereal, a bagel or maybe fruit otherwise you received 15% off the menu items. The biggest drawback was when you go in, you walk into a store (dark, dirty & cluttered), you go left into the restaurant and I guess if you are a trucker, you can congregate in the back room and smoke. We had to leave as we did not want to compromise our lungs for breakfast.

It was a good value for the price. No frills but a clean, comfortable room. Check in was done by phone rather than at a office area.

Not what I expected, but nice.
The rooms are big and clean. They even have a large refrigerator in the kitchen area. I didn't realize it was a motel when I booked the rooms. It's right off the interstate, so it's easy to get to...yet it feels remote with the wooded surroundings.

The motel is clean, cozy and convenient to the interstate. There is no office there at the motel. There is a phone number to call when you arrive to check in. We stayed for two nights and ran out of toilet paper the first night. When we arrived the roll that was there was almost gone. With no front desk area there was no one to ask for more.

No one is at the hotel you have to call a number and then you check in thru the phone. You get a text message with room and door code. The free complimentary breakfast is at a store down the road….apple orange 2 choices of cereal from a container. They give you 15% off if you order breakfast from their store
