I had no idea my reservation would have been made so imperfectly. My family consists of 2 adults and 2 children, and although I entered the ages of each child at the time of reservation, neither Candeo Hotels nor Hotels.com provide a way to verify the ages of the children included in my reservation. didn't Nevertheless, Hotels.com did not provide any evidence or confirmation method other than the reply that I had set the ages of all my children to 0. I clearly entered the ages of both children. Even assuming I hadn't entered the ages of my two children, Hotels.com should have provided a clear way to verify the reservations I had made. Not only did I not get a way to verify the ages of 2 kids from Candeo Hotels and Hotels.com, but I also saw Hotels.com offer the hyped accommodations for 5 people. I complained logically about this issue several times, but Hotels.com did not make any efforts to correct this issue, and only relied on staff and chatbots with poor communication skills. My family and I's trip was cut short by Hotels.com's poor systems and staff, and I was very, very disappointed. I paid unwanted extra fees to Candeo Hotel and wasted a lot of time. I have been encouraging my family and friends to use Hotels.com, but now I am planning to stop and will work hard to prevent Hotels.com's system from causing any further damage.
