部屋も広く家族連れにおすすめです
家族4人で2泊しました。 残念ながら予約情報が正確に伝わっていませんでした。 そのため部屋が変わり、布団が不足し、食事についても問題がありました。 でも、宿とhotels.comの双方から対処していただきました。感謝しております。 京都駅からも歩けますし、河原町正面のバス停も近いです。 どこに行くにも便利な立地で、食事も美味しく、スタッフの皆さんも優しく良い滞在になりました。 部屋にレンジや洗濯機があったのが便利でした。 併設レストランでの夕食はどれも美味しかったです。

We stayed here during the new year. It was quiet and we got a good night sleep. Walking distance from the subway and Kyoto station. There is a wonderful public bath next door (tattoo friendly), and the bar/restaurant attached to the guesthouse is good. The restaurant serves a basic breakfast for a small fee. Overall good place to rest your head. Only disappointment was that we couldn’t get the heat to work in the common room.

京都のゲストハウス❗
家族で2泊しました。 外国人の方がオーナーで、何軒か所有されてるその中の一軒に泊まりました。 チェックインは、レストラン五条パラディソに行き、そこのスタッフが宿泊するハウスまで案内してくれます。歩いて1〜2分くらい。キッチン、シャワー、トイレなどは共用です。部屋は広くてほぼ写真の通り。快適でした。 スタッフは外国人の方なので、日本人スタッフも一人いますが、英語必須? 忘れてた英語を総動員しました(笑) 子供は、隣の部屋の女の子に、hey, girl! nice to meet you! といきなり声をかけられ、固まってましたし。レストラン、ハウス共に滞在してる人は外国人多数。異文化コミュニケーションにはいいかも。 レストランも多国籍料理で、私たちはフムスやファラエル?というイスラエル料理を食べましたが、 とても美味しかったです。次回またここに泊まり、お料理も食べたいと思ってます。

Just Adequate
Gojo Paradiso reminded me of a rural ski lodge built in the 1970s, got less and less use every year, and fell into mild disrepair without anything getting fixed or upgraded. Make sure you review photos of the rooms and common areas: floors are plywood. Utilities are old and outdated, lights bare fluorescents, door locks are weird or missing. Also, the bed was hard as a rock and you can feel all the springs. Rooms are cold and heating is by space heaters. Location is kind of remote, about a 15 minute walk to a station. It's a lovely spot on a beautiful small river, but the neighborhood itself is full of abandoned homes, in the process of "renewal". It's totally safe because this is Japan and there is almost no crime, but it's a dilapidated area. If you want to be near the fun, you really want to stay about 15 mins to the NW or SW instead. This place is most useful if you are booking in a group of six or so who can take over a whole three-room "home" and you want to save money, and you can benefit from the decent common area. Rooms also have a little space; we had a small table in our room which was useful. But Gojo Paradiso is doing the minimum upkeep. The common towels and sponges get gross and are rarely changed. The whole place is decorated a little, but feels like your grandma's unfinished attic. I would not book again, I will spend a little more to be closer to Nisihiki Market or keep the same low price and move farther east.

Bonne ambiance et bon emplacement
Le gojo est très sympas avec son aspect de petite maison traditionnel. Le quartier est génial. Petites rues calme en bord de canal. Pas de bruit la nuit et super joli de nuit comme de jour. Tous commerces à proximité. Et très bien. Positionné par rapport aux sites à voir et à la gare. Équipe sympas. Seul reproche, la propreté générale, mais si vous n’êtes pas regardant ça vaut franchement le coup.

Not recommend
It’s a quiet and easy to access zone. Everything else is really bad, the installation of the services all over the house were exposed and in bad conditions, the cleaning was bad and so much moisture made me sick. If you have asma or allergies please stay out. The location of the place is not what appears on the map. When I reply my opinion the owner argued with me! Run by people all over the world, in this case is a reference for low quality.
