Our stay in Ascona

Great location right on the lake in the middle of town. Breakfast was great and office staff very friendly. We booked a room overlooking lake with a balcony but rarely used it as it was too hot and there is no cover/umbrella for shade. Other than that it was good.

Nachdem wir etwas nach 21.00 das Hotel erreicht haben hat uns eine Angestellte der Rezeption nach ihrem Feierabend auf der Strasse erkannt und uns überaus freundlich beim Check-in geholfen und alles gezeigt, was alles andere als selbstverständlich war. Das Zimmer war zweckmässig eingerichtet und sauber. Leider liegt die Nr 313 im 1. Stock an einer Seitenstrasse mit Pflastersteinen. Die Fenster liessen sich nicht komplett abdunkeln und es war laut. Das Frühstück war vielfältig, frisch und gut.
