The hotel is a little dated but still in a good condition. The room is roomy and the private onsen with balcony is nice. Though the room is dusty due to the air conditioner and it is dark. Food: delicious but not a lot of chiice. You get what you need.

Amazing and beautiful hotel. We got the Mt.Fuji view but didn’t get to see it because it was cloudy and rainy when we stayed. The dinner was not what I had expected for the price we paid. But the breakfast buffet was worth it and much better! I will stay there again for the private onsen and golf course in the future. Shared public Amenties with the Marriott which we had no idea but good to know in the future. The shuttle bus was convenient.

I was a bit worried leading up to the trip about how to get there but they had some pretty good instructions on their website. They have a free shuttle that comes to the Shuzenji station about every hour or 2 (timetable is on their site) so all you need to worry about it getting to Shuzenji station which you can figure out using Google Maps. Once there, their instructions say to exit the station, go out and around the 7 eleven, and all the way down to the 8th bus stop. You’ll know you’re at the right spot because the sign will literally say the bus stop is for this hotel. It’s a coach bus so you’ll be able to fit any large or small luggage in the undercarriage.
Check in was quick and easy. We got to our room which was not too far by walk but they have a shuttle going around between the Marriott and guest house every 20-40 minutes.
This is basically out in the wilderness so expect some bugs and flys, etc. With that said, our room was very clean and really could not find any bugs inside the room for the 2 nights we stayed.
The private onsen was amazing and relaxing and we could actually see the top of Mt. Fuji from our room in November when it’s cooler so less clouds.
Limited in the things you can do there but we came to relax.
Food was just okay, kaiseki dinner is a traditional Japanese tasting menu essentially but wasn’t for us personally. Breakfast buffet is what you expect.
Overall, pricey but relaxing stay. Would recommend for those looking for private onsen.

Our first impression of our room was not good because we checked in late at night.
The floor, bedding, terrace, and sink were clean in places that were visible.
but the air conditioner and places that were not visible were not clean enough.
Also, there was no main lighting, so it was dark overall. However, the view of Mt. Fuji that could be seen as the morning dawned and the ability to enjoy a private hot spring while looking at the view were great advantages. The terrace was well-maintained to the point where you could walk barefoot, and the accommodation was located in the mountains, so it felt like a good place for healing.

The hotel was amazing! Just driving to the guest house to check in, we saw Mt. Fuji. The staff during check in were so friendly and kind. Our room was magnificent! It was huge! The in room open air onsen was so wonderful. We could see Mt. Fuji as we relaxed in the onsen. The hotel was really clean and well maintained. We loved our stay, and wish we would have booked more nights at this awesome resort.

The property is huge but our unit was very nice and cozy. For a unit with a hot tub there were not enough towels. There is not a phone either so you can’t call anyone if you have any issues or requests. We were only there for one night so it was okay for a short stay.

Beautiful area. Rooms with private onsen are fantastic. Great view of Mount Fuji beyond the trees in the room I stayed in. The drive up to the facilities is amazing.
Amenities are great and shuttles/busses exist but it would be difficult leaving the area without a car. The facilities cover a pretty large area up a mountain which is something to note.
Zero complaints for my stay, everything was fantastic.

Very spacious room with private onsen at an affordable price. Nice half board at the restaurant with Mt Fuji view. Check in was a bit troublesome as you have to go to the guesthouse at the far end which is a bit of a distance from our hotel room. But it's walkable and got shuttle bus. You can use onsen at other property in that area too.

The view of the hotel is really nice - it was a little cloudy when I stayed, so I could not really see Mt Fuji, but you can see mountains + the golf area.
What I was unsatisfied is the service. First, don't expect anyone to help with your luggage. Second, the room was not ready when I checked in at 3pm. The cleaning staff was very apologetic about this, and they finished cleaning in 10 minutes or so, but I don't

Hard to get around without your own vehicle;hilly and not walkable. Also, I had a course dinner at Fuji restaurant which was poor at best and there was no other option.
The lodging and the service by the staff was great though.

It's a very large property with separate buildings spread around a golf course. Our room had a private hot spring and a view of Mt Fuji. But the tatami room had no chairs, so don't choose a room like that if you're not flexible enough to sit on the floor. But the staff moved us to the adjoining Marriott building which seems to be the same company. We lost the private hot spring, but were much more comfortable there. The staff were very helpful.
