I travel internationally ,and whenever I am in Eldoret, I like to stay at the Boma. It’s moderately priced but the staff is top notch. They are friendly and helpful. The restaurant features great breakfast and dinner buffets and there’s usually a grill-out one evening during the week. The wait staff is excellent and accommodating.

Positive: Friendly and helpful staff is a 9. Common facilities have had much effort and expense put into them and are an 8. The rooms themselves are a 7 and underwhelming compared to the common areas. An overall higher quality hotel for the area but can be pricey. Food was very good overall and a decent value. Hot breakfast buffet at 1500 kes a good value if hungry. Good gym included with steam, sauna, and hot tub. Good security and in room safes Issues: Internet connection was unstable and wifi coverage was weak in certain areas of hotel. The beds could be more comfortable. There are some minor finish and maintenance issues in the rooms. Be aware clothes cleaning service is extremely high priced.
