Margaritaville is a GREAT resort. I would totally stay there again, however, I was not aware it was a TIME SHARE property. If I had know that, I would not have stayed. Even though the "90 minute" presentation was 3 1/2 hours long, the staff and crew presenting were not pushy at all and were very friendly.

We expected more from Margaritaville based on experiences at other venues. One of the biggest turn offs was the music. What we heard was old school disco with a loud base beat - enough to sit as far away from the DJ as possible. At 5 o'clock somewhere - why not play Margaritaville/Jimmy Buffet Music and promote a $5 margarita happy hour. A Caribbean dance party with salsa sounds would have been an added plus. About the room - we had to request a repair of the safe, the door to the bathroom and the sliding door to the deck. These things should be inspected and repaired as needed after each guest.
