Fukuyama city is a hidden jewel. Most of the bullet trains stop here and the access to major places, including Osaka, Kyoto, Nagoya, Yokohama, Tokyo, and Fukuoka is a direct line. If you want to visit Tomonoura where major movies scenes were taken, including Studio Ghibli and The Wolverine, I highly recommend Fukuyama.

From the moment I arrived at the hotel the staff was amazing. Helpful and accommodating. Everything was clean and comfortable. Multiple restaurants at the hotel and right across the street from the train station with many more restaurants and shopping. Will ability stay again.

I’ve been going to this hotel for years. I took the cheapest room this time, which said it was noisy, but it wasn’t at all! Bathroom is quite wide, bed is comfortable, and it was really quiet. Staff was wonderful and very accommodating. It’s an older hotel that is quite famous in that area. Definitely would stay again.
