A pretty expensive room but I think you get your money's worth. It's very close to the train station and other transportation options to get around Kanazawa. The room itself is comfortable and the amenities cover almost everything you need. The staff was also kind enough to store our luggage even after we checked out so we could do some more sightseeing before we left town. Overall, a good hotel that's worth looking at if you're visiting Kanazawa.

Staff were excellent. My wife had hurt her knee earlier in the day and I went looking for ice, but there were no ice machines to be found (despite the hotel compendium saying they were on every floor). I requested ice from the front desk and one of the managers arrived soon after with two large bags of ice and extra towels.
On the negative side, the room smelt of cigarette smoke, even though I was advised on check-in that I was in a non-smoking room. It took a lot of spraying with the supplied refresher spray to diffuse the smell. Maybe it came though the air conditioning or maybe a previous guest broke the rules, but it was disappointing nonetheless.

For the price point, the room was fine. Nothing special. Staff was very courteous and efficient. Easy check-in/check-out. Room was clean and larger than most hotel rooms in Japan, but bathroom was pre-fabbed and felt like you were in an airplane bathroom. The biggest drawback was that the hotel A/C was not on yet and you had to open the hotel window if the room was too warm and stuffy. The hotel overlooks the bus/train depot. Great location for getting in, out and around the city. Bad location if you have to open the hotel window to get some air in your room.

This hotel has the best location. It’s right next to the train station and bus stops. The breakfast menu is great. Next to the hotel is a shopping center with a large food court/restaurants in the 6th floor.
