Bathroom needs improving

This is a 3 star hotel, so expectations need to be kept inline, but for me the most disappointing thing was the bathroom, whike the room is a bit dated and dull, the bathroom is even more so. There is no shower screen so water went everywhere. Also for me the breakfast was poor, i jnow I am in Vietnam but some croissants would be good.

Everything about this hotel is normal EXCEPT the bathroom issues. Our room did NOT have shower stand. We had to sit down on the bathtub to take shower or water will be all over the place. There was NO shower curtain nor glass panel. Other regular rooms are the same. Only the tiny room have shower stand.

Good location & comfortable stay

Single “Cosy Queen” room was comfortable & clean with ample sized bathroom. However having to change rooms (from a tour booking) to my booking & asked to be charged VND 200k per night to keep existing room was petty. The new room was exactly the same room, one floor down but with no window. The window on 1st room had window, but no view. Shower was never hot, just mildly warm. Bed very comfortable & two small bottles of complimentary water each day appreciated. Breakfast underwhelming with staff very slow to replenish either food or glasses. Otherwise all staff friendly & helpful. Use Google Maps to find good food places nearby - there are a few - great bakery Tours Les Jours just a block away.

Central Park Saigon Hotel The pictures uploaded is not up to date, its probably wrong hotel or previously the old hotel, see my pictures thats recently taken. +Air condition, Hair dryer, Safety box, Refrigerator, good wi-fi. +Good breakfast but mostly asian food. +Free luggage storage after checked out, came to get it the next day. +Location is good for restaurants that local people know about. +Didn't hear much noise from the traffic outside. -No iron or steamer for clothes. All hotels must have it for travellers as they fold their clothes in luggages and it gets wrinkled. Reception said its for safety but ironing can be done near reception and a timer for the power can be used. -No need to book rooms with windows as its so small, the view is a wall anyway. -Staff is not greeting or smiling when going in and out. +/- Location is near the city centre for tourists, around 10-15min walk but Vietnam doesnt have good pavement/sidewalk, lots of bikes parking on it. Stayed here with family, so we had different rooms and could compare. Some rooms are difficult to hang up clothes as its above the kettle and safebox (example room 1405). It's a average hotel, kinda clean but found few small ants in a bathroom one day. Me personally wouldn't stay here again as I need iron for clothes.

The hotel was nice but the staff were the most unfriendly people in a hotel that I have ever encountered. The reception staff were beyond rude. The staff in the dining room at breakfast were unfriendly.
