The location is wonderful, this is a beautiful location you overlook the river and have tons of greenery around. The staff was kind and helpful, very sweet. The rooms that we stayed in were very run down, the water came out of the faucet totally cloudy and yellow. Our sheets were thin and very poor quality, the towels were torn, in general old and run down. With a little TLC and an update in mattresses, bedding and towels, this would be the perfect stay.

The hotel itself is beautiful and well located. The room was large, spaceous and clean. There was no toilet paper and the bathroom sink water was turned off. I’ve noticed that it’s hard to get hot water going in hotels so don’t expect that here.
The towels were stained, not sure if it’s a laundry machine issue

The lock on the door was a simple push button which left us feeling the room was not secure. The towels had dirt stains and damp before use. Sheets were thin so one could see the mattress through them. There was no laundry service as was advertised. The front desk staff were there when we checked in and then gone, so we were unable to talk about issues.

Very peaceful and beautiful location next to the river. Only a couple minutes walk to the town square and many restaurants, about 5 mins walk to the bus terminal, and 15 mins easy walk to the ruins entrance. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot (just double check with the front desk to make sure the water heater is on if you're showering outside typical morning/evening times), small coffee maker in the room. WiFi worked well. Nice seating areas and hammocks outside the rooms. Staff were really nice and let me check in early when I got off the bus from Guatemala.
Could hear the river at night which was super relaxing :)
