You are going to be staying at an apartment. This is not a hotel. They sent an address but it's not exactly the one on the map. It is in a nearby building, at least the room that I was in. The room actually was two bedrooms, which is what I did not expect. But it was spacious and cozy. There was a hot plate and a mini refrigerator in there. They even had cooking pans. I'm not exactly sure where to wash the dishes other than the bathroom sink, but I didn't use any of it but it was good to know that it was there. The location is in a prime area less than a 10-minute walk to Doge. There is no elevators and the stairs were very narrow. Be prepared to lug some suitcases up.
You will get instructions on how to get into the building 24 hours before. It would have had been nice to get them. Maybe 48 hours or a little bit longer so I could print the instructions in case I lost wifi. But I got the instructions as soon as I landed at VCE. Would gladly stay here again. The room facing the street had a bigger bed but noisier from the drink people walking outside. But the other room was quiey that faced away from the street.
