Hotel is located in the heart of Rome. Mostly everything was walkable. Trevi fountain, Spanish steps, Pantheon, shopping, eating. Hotel was clean, bedding was comfortable, staff was friendly. Only drawback the shower pressure was not good.

Nice place
This is a pretty nice piece. Super quiet, clean, great staff, very helpful, respectful, close to local transportation and train station, restaurants, shopping for just about anything, and of course churches. But keep an eye open, look for the light brown heavy doors, or you’ll miss it. Ring the doorbell on left side, easy. Receptionist Liubliana and the nice lady in the restaurant are the best! Btw, the lady in the restaurant makes a fantastic capuchino!

The location of the hotel is excellent. It is easy to reach from the main station (Roma Termini). The rooms are regular and soundproofing should be better, but I have seldom met such a lovely and helpful staff.

My stay at Hotel Cortina was amazing!!! The staff were all incredible and always willing to help in anyway. I always felt very safe here. The hotel is centrally located and on a busy street. It was always easy to find my way back too and an easy walk to landmarks around the city. Most of the big ones are about a 25-30 minute walk but it is beautiful in every direction!! There a lot of cute restaurants on this street and shopping as well. It was also in very close proximity to Termini Station if you plan on taking the train into Rome. I would absolutely come back here again on my next trip to Rome. I couldn't reccomend them enough!

Cozy hotel with great staff. my wife and two children stayed in this hotel for an overnight in Rome. The staff was awesome, they keep the bags in storage while they visited the city. The room was great, clean and as it looks on the pictures. The hotel is close to the train station so is a great place to stay if you have an overnight and have trains to catch.

Our stay at Hotel Cortina was pleasant and comfortable. The front desk staff, Sara and Alessia, were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent. I felt very safe walking and shopping on Via Nazionale. I would definitely stay here again on future trips to Rome.

NOT sound isolated at all / crack in door frame
We booked the 'Classic double' and were hoping for the charming, cozy vibe of this room - but upon arrival, we found that we had been "upgraded" to the 'Superior' room. Indeed this room is more expensive, but it was unclear to us why. The room wasn't cozy at all and we did not notice anything about it that would have explained why it was better than the Classic room we booked. Also - the room was facing the street, and was located right above a sports bar. The noise was impossible to ignore until the bar closed at 2:00 AM, even though we closed the windows. Completely unacceptable for a 150 € room, advertised as sound isolated. However, the next day we spoke to the staff and they managed to move us to another room that ressembled the Classic double we booked. Not quite as nice, but we chose to accept it. Since we lacked a lot of sleep from the first night, I asked if they would provide some kind of accommodation, and they offered to discount the tourist tax for the first night. However, during the next 3 nights in the new room, we experienced a lot of noise from the hallway when other guests came in. Speech and footsteps was extremely audiable, for some reason. The morning we left, I noticed the reason. There was a crack in the door frame of our room. No wonder we could hear everything in the hallway, we were a part of it. Conclusion: - Hotels.com says the rooms have noise isolation, which was not true. - We feel that the aesthetics of the room was not as advertised.
