I came with my daughter and brother who is a special needs person in a wheelchair. I choose this hotel because it's close to the Smilow cancer center at Yale hospital. My wife has a terminal cancer condition. She's being discharged from the hospital today so she can travel to Florida and resume hospice care there with her family's help.
First, the on site restaurant that was supposed to be open from 5 pm to 9 pm was closed at 8 pm. Then the toilet in my room, room 508, was clogged up and didn't flush. The toilet had a very slow drain when it flushed. Thats very unsanitary. I told the front desk and they said that nobody was available to fix the problem. Never got an option of another room. Never got offered a credit towards a future stay or some money off of my bill. Nice hotel but those 2 things really added onto what was already a bad family experience that me, my daughter, my brother, my wife and her family are dealing with.
