We travel ALOT and have stayed at older hotels but this one was subpar! There was dirt and grime in the bathroom, no shower curtain on the shower and I was scared to take my shoes off walking around in the room. Had there been other options (and had we not been absolutely exhausted) we would have left!

I’m from the Midwest and it was my first time in Alabama. Unfortunately the first room didn’t have working lights. The second room wasn’t any better. There was limited tissue. Dead wolf spider near the sink. Stained/dirty ottoman. Killed a roach crawling near me. No cable or internet availabile the entire stay. Doorway lacked a stop which allowed insects to enter room. I was appalled and I’ll never stay at another hotel owned by Wyndham ever again

Really the only plus to this property was availability since other hotels near this location were all booked, now I see why. This is obviously a newly designated "Days Inn" from a locally named motel. Needs total renovation! The ladies at check-in and out were very helpful and moved me to another room upon request since the air conditioning was not working properly. They deserve a better environment to work!

Worst place to stay in History
This was the worst place we have ever stayed. The shower had no hot water. The wasn’t working and my husband had to fix it with every flush. The room was gross and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in days. If we werent in such a pinch for travel we have have bitched and complained. This was the worst Days Inn ever and the 200.00 was a waste. They should have paid me to stay there I felt gross and nasty when leaving .

First all mixed up rooms. Not cleaned. Key didn't work and deadbolt wouldn't lock. No tissue 1bar of soap for 2 people.No ice machine vending machine empty. At that price horrible. Not close to a Whydom Day's Inn. Very bad stay.

It was what we could get
I rented 6 rooms for a field trip that I took with my students. The woman who checked me in at the front desk was very helpful, friendly, and professional. The problem was with the rooms. The tv in my room didn’t work and the bed was unstable. The tv in the driver’s room gave him trouble as well but he eventually figured out it was the remote and they gave him new batteries. The door on one of my student’s room didn’t close. When he left out of the room, the door simply wouldn’t close. He had to put his belongings in someone else’s room to prevent theft. Several people tried to close it, hard, and it wouldn’t. But this location was cheap and it was the only hotel close to where we were going that had enough rooms.

Well, where do I even begin with our stay at America's Best Inn and Suites in York, Al? It was like stepping into a thriller movie, and I'm not sure if I was the protagonist or the unwitting side character.Picture this: It's a Bama game weekend, and hotels closer to Tuscaloosa are demanding ransom money for a room. So, I found this gem of a place on hotel.com, and let me tell you, it was a steal – or was it?As we approached the motel, my wife looked at the building and said, 'Yeah, how about we try a different hotel, this looks sketchy.' Little did she know, I had already committed us to this adventure.Upon arrival, we encountered the motel's version of Fort Knox – a bulletproof window and a locked lobby door. We finally made it to our room, only to find an ashtray in a 'non-smoking' room, stained sheets that could tell a thousand stories, and a shower that performed a never-ending water dance.Surprisingly, no bed bugs joined our adventure, so we actually slept soundly. We tried to enjoy some TV, but premium channels were off-limits, of course.Now, let's talk about the much-anticipated 'free breakfast' that I spotted on hotel.com. Imagine my surprise when I found out there was no breakfast when I went to turn in our room key. It turns out the breakfast was as elusive as a unicorn.As we checked out, we encountered the motel's 'staff': one sleeping on the lobby couch and another doing laundry in some undisclosed room.
