The area around the hotel was welcoming. The room was ok for the price and for the area. The only flaw was that there was not that much parking available. Very quiet and front office was very helpful and nice.

This is the second time I’ve booked here and this is the only place I’ll stay when I come to CA. Staff is friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. Rooms are amazing, plenty of space, clean. Within a half mile of freeway, 3 minute drive down to the beach, plenty of local places for food literally across the street.

My stay in San Clemente was fabulous. The hotel is beautifully designed and excellently kept in the area of San Clemente Beach is just gorgeous. Everybody should see that.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times actually it is my go to. However, this time on the weekend there were a bunch of people screaming and yelling and slamming doors and partying until after 3 AM. I was surprised that management, which I’m assuming is on the property did nothing about it. Can’t say if I will stay there again.

This was booked on Thursday, April 3 and when I went to check in, I was never told until I was ready to walk out the door that the electricity was going to be off from 9 PM until 6 AM. However they had received a notification from the electric company four weeks prior. I requested a refund. I was refused by the clerk at the hotel. I also contacted Hotels.com and gave them this information they offered to relocate me at literally 10 o'clock at night, which was ridiculous and yet I asked for a partial or even a full refund, but never received a single communication back from Hotels.com. I will be reporting the American best hotel for Endangerment based on the fact that this hotel was without electricity from 9 PM until 6 AM. I was on the third floor. I had no way to know where the access point was to get down the stairs because not the only did the phones not work. There was no lights. There was no elevators or anything of that nature. The windows did not open so should a fire of broken out. I would've been trapped on the third floor. This definitely is the worst hotel to stay at, and I feel that not only them, but Hotels.com should be held accountable since it was reported to both of them.

WiFi didn’t work the whole time I was there. The hotel main desk phone wasn’t in service for the two days before I arrived to try to address an issue and no one responded to an email I sent, and my key never worked to my room despite swapping it out two additional times. I was frustrated, but the owners were kind.
