We recently stayed at St. Regis and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. The information provided about the room and its views was misleading, and the management was unhelpful in addressing our concerns. When booking a resort of this caliber, you expect more than views of parking lots and rooftops, which is what we were given. Despite our willingness to pay extra for a better view, the manager falsely claimed that all the rooms were booked, even though it was clear that the property wasn’t full.
While the bar and housekeeping staff were friendly and attentive, the management left much to be desired. This property seems to cater primarily to Marriott members, as they received deals or points for their bookings, leaving non-members to shoulder the additional costs.
Overall, St. Regis did not live up to its reputation, and we would not recommend it unless you’re a Marriott member or have very specific expectations.
