I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Overland Park and overall, it was a good experience. The front desk staff was great—very friendly and accommodating. I had to ask for a cot for my daughter because the room description online had mentioned a pullout couch, which is one of the reasons I booked that particular room. Unfortunately, there wasn’t one, but the staff quickly brought us a cot, which was appreciated.
The only other surprise was the price. It ended up being quite a bit more expensive than what I saw on Hotels.com. I’m not sure if it was due to local taxes or additional fees, but it was definitely more than I was expecting.
Despite those couple of surprises, the stay itself was comfortable, and the service was excellent. I’d stay again but would be more careful about double-checking room details and final pricing next time.
