Rooms are dated and awkwardly laid out: sheets are pilling, pillows are lumpy, TV is tiny and strangely positioned, pots and pans are too large for stovetop, and kettle needs descaling. Also, no view of red rocks despite paying for an ‘upgraded’ Mesa room (waste of money). Front desk was impersonal and aggressive: be prepared for the vacation club sell disguised as a ‘welcome package’. No restaurant or bar either with little in walking distance. Saving grace was shower pressure and spa near-ish room with view of red rocks.

We enjoyed our stay. We’re surprised to have checkout instructions at the last minute, which was an ideal given we were trying to leave. We also had some issues with the bathroom sink clogging. The maintenance person came, but they didn’t really fix the issue and since we were going to leave the next day, we just let it be. It was still a bit gross.

Very Nice
Property is a large sprawling resort complex, with 4 or 5 different pools, hot tubs, BBQ and picnic areas, plenty of parking. Room was clean, spacious, with full kitchen. Location is in West Sedona, so just a few minutes' drive to Uptown Sedona. Hiking trails are nearby, but then again, there's hiking trails all over Sedona. Overall an excellent location I'd recommend to singles, couples, families, etc.

Paid for a View I got the Basement
I paid for a Queen Suite with a view, when I checked in I was told they only had thirty units with a view and I would not be getting one. I asked for a refund for the last day as was unhappy, I was told only resort fees not room charges would be returned.

I felt that the room was very dated. Plus it had an adjoining suite that was also in use and every noise was heard. AC was either too hot are too cold. Lastly there was no way to have the AC fan running for white noise to drown out adjoining room or outside noise!

Rooms are nice - clean, spacious, modern. Multiple pools and hot tubs - all well-maintained. There is no food of any kind on the grounds. This is basically condos. They try to sell you timeshare at check-in, which is ick, but they accept the first 'no' which is eh, alright.
