I'm guessing the Monte Carlo was phenomenal. I met several staff over the 40 hours I was briefly in the Mississauga/ Pearson area. This is a critique of the entire points/call hotel direct/gift card/check in prior to arrival/agree to terms & conditions entire "industry/outfit/"...which has countless amazing people working in hospitality, car, data and geophysical location analytics....but, SOME OF US JUST GOT OUR FIRST cellPhonËz 3 years ago.
Millions want to go back to the simple times...but for an old fart like me, I've done the rough math on "PLEASE READ THE TERMS & CONDITIONS" for the apps, gift card, paper docs and banking docs and GOOGLE...and it's extremely frustrating to have to do things quickly when 500+ pages of conditions Should be read. The staff at monte Carlo were great, treated me with dignity and respect.
I had everything figured out to "rebook", but was prompted via links to the following Evening, which made life miserable for 24 hours.
Hotels.com gift cards are my favourite,but when traveling and linking thru apps and new rewards cards/banks, 500-5000 pages of terms and conditions is a little much.
Would definitely like to stay at the Monte Carlo, of my best 25 options, monte Carlo was the perfect PLA e for me. I usually fly or drive from Alberta to SW Ontario 10-12 times every 30 months.
Hope a great solution is found, thanks again to the staff at monte Carlo for their lobby use for a couple hours. Extremely friendly and courteous! ✌️🇨🇦💫👍
