Staff was great, we were there in winter time when most everything is shut down and the had a weird snow storm just before we came so it caused more things to be shut down. Overall not a bad place, maybe just a bit outdated.

Stayed here before. Hotel is always nice and clean. Winter weather over the weekend but parking lot isn't plowed and unsafe. Wished that it would be plowed being Tuesday afternoon. Only concern about the room is the piece that turns the shower on is stuck and was wanting to sit in a hot bath since the pool and hot tub are not available. A little disappointed in that. Otherwise, hotel is nice. Room comfortable and staff is friendly.

Not clean, not renovated, no breakfast.
So, rm 107 we were told was newly renovated. This isnt our first stay but first time on 1st floor, so i was already skeptical. We traveled with 3 so we brought in all our stuff and plus it was so cold outside we just pulled everything intothe room. The front desk gentleman was awesome. Wish i had gotten his name. Either way we got into the room found hair in our beds, ×2 fuzzy things, and what looked like mold in the heat/ air vent. (Smell) with ripped wall paper, and the glass door that wouldnt stay lached. And the ceiling fan in the vaulted ceiling that didnt work either. It didnt seem to be renovated. The breakfast wasnt labbed grab n go until we got there, on the desk to check in. They said it just switched last week due to closed branson season. Was so disappointing to not have a full breakfast since one reason we chose grand plaza. We quickly gather our stuff since beds were dirty, and floors we're not vaccumed. Went to front desk, let him know i am seriously allergic to mold and couldnt stay. "Your the second guests in 30 mins to leave in a different room due to cleaners and not doing job." The deskman gave us back our full refund, and we found a new place with a full breakfast. Stay was supposed to be Jan 12-14 24. If i was you i would stay clear, cheap prices not good room accommodations. Beds folded us like tacos so no support when sat on. Beware! Will not allow me to add photos. I do have and emailed the hotel directly.

Less than average.
The hotel is in disrepair and needs a major face lift. The carpet in the halls and rooms is old and dingy. Our socks were gross from light walking just around our room. There was a ceiling leak in the breakfast area and some of the sheetrock/ wallpaper was peeling away from the walls in multiple places. And bathrooms are TINY in the rooms. If you're looking for grandeur, this hotel isn't it. The indoor pool is currently closed from Jan '24- March '24 for "major renovations", but the whole hotel needs one really.

For the price we paid it was OK, we had to go get towels at the front desk, as housekeeping is quite lazy... The guys at the front desk were amazing, super chill even with our request to change rooms (the one room smelled of cigarette smoke). Breakfast in the morning was great, it is the same every morning, but was much better than I expected. Bottom line, if you want a budget stay and don't mind looking after a few things yourself than this is the place to stay.

Don’t. Just don’t!
I have stayed at this hotel before and always liked it, but it has really become run down, dirty, very few staff, a wake up call at 2:50 am that I didn’t ask for. The headboard on our bed in the king suite was dirty with handprints and what looked like old spills. The room smelled heavily of mold or a musty aroma. The wallpaper was peeling in the sofa room of the suite. Pool out of service and the wonderful full buffet breakfast that we booked this hotel for is no longer available, even though the website still advertises it as available. What is provided is an apple, a juice box, a muffin and a little microwave breakfast sandwich. Oh! And coffee! They called it “grab and go”. I call it grab and throw…right into the trash. We went to a downtown cafe for a hot breakfast. The soap dispenser in the shower was empty. The bathroom sink was dirty. Mismatched towels. Some brown ones, some white ones. The elevators were dirty. Interior carpets are very dirty and need shampooed. I am so sad to see this hotel fail. A few years back, I loved staying here with my school youth group, but there is no way I would book with them again. Very sad about this stay.

The room had not been cleaned.
When we arrived the room was dirty as it had not been cleaned. However, the beds were made and clean. The bathroom was dirty. There were no wash cloths and only two towels. The clerk did send a cleaning crew to clean the room and the bathroom and she brought towels. There was no remote for the television. The clerk brought a remote but the television did not work so she had to reprogram it. There was no shower curtain. The clerk brought a shower curtain. She even hung it for us. We felt she did a wonderful job but she shouldn't have had to do any of this. It was distressful to experience these things. The remote for the television still not work.

Bed were uncomfortable. No towels, had to ask for them, first night we got towels second night they never brought them to us. We had to clean our own bathroom the first night we got there as there was fluids on the toilet and pet hair on the pillow cases. The shampoo and conditioners in the showers didn’t work. We’ve stayed her a few times and it wasn’t ever like this. Won’t be staying again. The staff were on their phones in the hall being loud when they were supposed to be cleaning rooms by the looks of the cleaning cart with them.

Waited at least 10 minutes for someone to get us checked in & neither of the 2 rooms were ready…had to wait for 37 minutes while we waited outside in the hall. Soap dispensers didn’t work. The pool was closed for repair. The breakfast they used to have didn’t exist on the 9th floor. Had stayed there many times over the past 20 years, but will never go back!

The toilet didnt work when we got to our room. Called down to front desk and the lady stated she would be up shortly. It took her 5 1/2 hours to get to us and she would have forgotten had I not gone down to the front desk. When I did a gentleman was sitting in a chair in the corner talking on the phone. He asked, "Do you need help?" I simply said yes and he said ok she will help you in a minute when she gets back. He then proceeded with his conversation as I stood there and waited. Then I stated I had been waiting for 5 hours for my toilet to be fixed and he proceeded to say "she will help you" and then went back to his conversation and left the area. Then the lady returned she informed me her managers refuse to schedule more than one person at night. Ridiculous! How is one person suppose to help everyone when you have 8 floors of hotel rooms? The service was subpar but I dont blame her, I blame management for poor managing skills. The cleanliness is was subpar, pool area was freezing cold and under renovations, not to mention is smelled like the cjlorone hadnt been checked in weeks. Very disappointing.

We stayed on the third floor and at first.. The front desk staff was nice, that’s about it. I thought the hotel would be good. No. Thank god I brought cleaning wipes from having a toddler because if not, I’d of asked for a refund. There was sticky nasty stuff on our room tables when we walked in. The bed sheets had visible stains that looked like they weren’t even washed. We put another blanket down and slept on top of the covers. The WHOLE THIRD FLOOR smelled like mildew, mold and bad odor like it had been flooded. The only reason we didn’t switch hotels is because everything was booked by the time we got there, during Christmas time unfortunately. None of the soap dispensers in the room worked. Their pictures are obviously from when they first opened. The only thing I liked, was the hotel is across from the outlets. I don’t plan on staying here again.

Disappointed in the breakfast, grab and go only
We had a great stay, we love the motel, we were told at a full breakfast on the ninth floor, but when we got up and got in the elevator, it had a sign posted grab and go breakfast only on the second floor. It was a microwave sandwich to put in a microwave and heat up yourself, we were very disappointed in the breakfast but other than that it was a great stay.

The breakfast buffet was not a buffet it was a Continental breakfast. The food was also cold. The rooms were adequate but needed thorough cleaning like the corners were dirty and the heating was dirty. We needed more towels and asked house keeping but never received them. Front desk was not manned very well had to wait quite awhile to speak with anyone.

Poor Management
The first thing I wanna say was the staff was excellent but this trip was a Christmas present for my son and I called the weekend before we went to make sure the pool and hot tub was open and they said yes. Then when we got there hot tub was drained. Also I requested a high floor for a good view and was put on the 3rd out of 8 floors. Our thermostat didn’t work, just full blast hot or cold. Towels were a hit our miss on wether you could get some for the pool or your room. The stuff was always very kind and seemed very hard working. The night we checked in, the front desk worker was the only staff in the building that night.
