Central position and with parking was good Extent of air conditioning was just opening windows when hot . Basic breakfast was ok Overall was looked after by staff, and put right toilet flush mechanism quickly. Quirky and dated decor. Was happy there. Steve, July 2026

This place needs to be condemned. It’s horrible. There was blood splattered up the walls in the bathroom, everything was just grim. Happy to have parking but that’s literally all the place had going for it. I’d probably have been more comfortable sleeping in my car.

This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Tonbridge. It has FREE parking. A Friday night for £66. Where else can you get this price in the heart of Tonbridge with free parking. If you want a more luxurious hotel go and pay three times more. Yes it was dated, the room lacked good house keeping as there was dust on the bedside table. The building seriously needs investment BUT with this comes over £100 a night rooms. I’ve stayed in better and I’ve stayed in worse. I’d give it 5/10 overall.

My bathroom hadn't been cleaned as i opened the bin to put rubbish inand it had a bloody tampon inside it! Disgusting! and when i tried to call reception no one answered and i couldn't find any staff!

This is the worst-kept hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was dirty and mouldy, the net curtain had been cut in half, and there were no spoons provided for the tea and coffee facilities. The corridor smelled awful, and the window from the room next door was lying in the overgrown wasteland outside. There was a huge pile of rubbish in the car park, the beds were uncomfortable, and some of the lights in the room did not work. Parts of the room were also missing decoration and fittings. We pulled the bed out and found that it had clearly not been hoovered for a very long time. On a positive note, the rubbish-filled car park was convenient, the high street nearby is pleasant, and I would add that the receptionist was friendly and helpful

There was food on them carpet under the table, no toilet roll and the room wads cold at night and no way of turning on heating. Told the reception staff and they said they had not even been in the rooms so there was nothing they could do.

Excellent! Ample free parking, friendly staff, nice breakfast with options. Stayed in the four poster room which was brilliant! Right in the middle of town, walking distance from castle (a minute or two) and train station (10 minutes). Would stay there again!

Bed comfy. Room fairly clean but staining on bottom of shower curtain and pencil left on floor in bathroom. No hand soap or shower gel in room. Cold tap no proessure. Shower cold. Breakfast nice, but very small portions on the full english. Rotating toaster not working proeprly as bread gets stuck at back. This was a Best Western Hotel, and was AA 3 Stars. Not sure it would get 3 stars now. Overall, it served it purpose. It had a bar, but didn't serve food in the evening.
